After the highly successful release of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, the next question on everyone’s mind has to be what direction the franchise will take next. As with any other game in the AC universe, fans are const♏antly asking themselves which time period in history will the game explore.
From Ancient Greece and the Italian Renaissance to the French and American Revolutions, this franchise has explored some of the most defining moments in human history. Here are ten periods of time in our history that the Assassin’s Creed historians and creators could explore n🔯ext with their upcoming game schedule.
10 An൲cient Rome 🌟
The great thing about Ancient Rome is that it plays into several ideas and notions set into motion by the previous game in the franchise. Assassin's Creed Odyssey made the most of its Ancient Greece setting, while the Ezio Auditore saga (Assassin's Creed II and Brotherhood) established Rome and figures like Romulus in the AC universe.
What better time for the current slate of games to explore than Ancient Rome, which saw the foundation of Rome become a reality? The establishment of this infamous em🗹pir🅘e is perfect to explore the conflict between the Order of the Ancients and their opposers, as well as The First Civilization.
9 Gil🅺ded Age 🍒
This is a unique era, as it spans three decades and began as a result of the end of the American Civil War. The Gilded Age is unique as it saw great economic booms that were offset by the poverty and inequality that was present as more immigrants arrived in the nation from impoverished countr🃏ies, and the tensions that arose during the Civil War had yet to heal.
From the construction of railroads in the nation to women’s suffrage, this was a defining period in U.S. History, and the political unrest makes for interesting backstory to the game world⭕.
8 🌱 Byzantine Empire (610-641 A.D.)
One of the greatest periods o𝓡f conflict for the Byzantine Empire has to be during the age of Heraclius from 610-641. After deposing of Phocas and his reign, the newly appointed emperor faced many failures and wins as the lea🍰der of the empire.
Dealing with the threat of invasion from Persian forces as well as the Barbarians, the leader faced many hardships, and this makes the era perfect to tell a𝔉 story of 𝓀war and political upheaval to mask the secret war between the Assassins and Templars during this period of time. Gamers would see Constantinople once more also.
7 Uruk Period ꦅ ꦑ
This is a unique period in history, as it took place 🎐more than 6,000 years ago and would require some imagination on the parts of both the creators and historians of the franchise.
However, from what we do know about this era, the Uruk period had many things that a society needs in order to meet the requirements of a somewhat relatable civilization: agriculture, commerce, writing, and even the beginnings of an actual empire. Assassin’s Creed Odyssey d🌸id a great job of establishing heroes and secret organizations well before the Templars and Assassins 🌠came along, so this would be fun to explore.
6 𒐪 Islamic Golden Age
One thing that gamers tend to see a lot of in the Assassin’s Creed universe is the political pushback between those who favor freedom, scientific discovery, and knowledge, and those who seek control throu𒈔gh religious fundamentalism. The latter be💧lieve tradition should triumph over modern advancements and freedom.
What better era to explore this than the Islamic Golden Age, which took place from the seventh century to the ওthirteenth century, giving gamers plenty of opportunity for gaming exploration, especially the capital of Baghdad. It would be interesting to explore the Islamic history and Islamic Assassins versus Templar war.
5 🐻 Yuan Dynasty
It would be quite interesting to explore an era of Chinese history that saw the great-grandson of Genghis Khan, Kublai Khan, end the Song Dynasty and unite all of China un♊der the rule of one foreign empire for the first time in the country’s history.
Be it the Khan family, the famous explorer Marco Polo, or the politics of Chinese and Mongol society’s forced to interact with one another after countless wars, this period would be perfect for the i🏅ntroduction of an Assassin navigating this murky period of change and upheaval in the nation while battling secret Templar agents.
4 ꦗ Saxon Wars 𒉰
This next era would be so interesting to watch, as the game’s would-be villain and main Templar foe has 🅰already been established and is one of history’s most infamous figures. We’re talking about the Saxon Wars of the fifteenth century in Romania, which including the ruler of Wallachia, Vlad the Impaler.
The leader was already established as a Templar in a previous game, and his brutal nature off and on the battlefield would be perfect to explore in the context of the franchise's world. Between the villain and the history of this era, it’s easy to picture Assassin's Creed tackling this era.
3 🍌 Azte꧟c Empire
This next era of history is both tragic and fascinating to explore, as it sees🎉 the cruel invasion of the Aztec Empire by the Spanish Conquistadors, led by conqueror Hernan Cortez.
With the Aztec Empire led by Emperor Moctezuma II in 1519, the leader fell a year later to Cortez, and the domination of the Aztec people by the ruthless conquistador forces would make for a tragic yet intriguing backstory for the main character of the game. It would be interesting to see a similar story to Assassin's Creed III, where an Aztec warrior becomes an assaಌssin after witnessing the destruction.
2 🐻 Edo Period ജ
What could be more interesting than the end of🉐 the age of the Samurai in Japan during ꧃the Edo period? This era lasted until , coming to an end when Japan was pushed to sign a trade agreement with the United States following centuries of the country having no contact with foreigners.
The United States brought a change of culture to Japඣan during this time, and both sides of the upheaval between Japan and The U.S. saw many schemes being undertaken behind the scenes. It would be interesting to see the last of the Samurai joining the fight against the Templars during this time.
1 Vik🔯ing Age 🌠
The Viking Age is undoubtedly one of the most heavily rumored and desired eras of hiജstory fans want the creators of th🌳e franchise to explore.
While many know that the Norsemen were Scandinavians who raided and pillaged territories as far west as Canada, what not everyone knows is that the end of this era came when they aligned themselves with the English King Harold Godwinson rather than the icon🔥ic William the Conqueror, leading to the steady decline of Viking society. It would be interesting to see a Viking sea captain explore the tail end of this era.
