At this point i🍷n time, Ezio might have been considered to be a Master Assassin, and yet even after launching an impressive counterattack, he failed to save the city he had chosen as his home.
Ratonhnhaké:ton: Stuck In His Past
Ratonhnhaké:ton, who later went by Conner, had one of thℱe most tragic beginnings in the entire seriesꩲ. For one, his father was the leader of the Templar Order in the emerging United States, and for another, his village was the target of a brutal attack where many of Conners friends and family, including his mother, were killed.
While not explicitly his own fault, Conner took the failure to save his mother and village personally, going on to ruthlessly hunt down the Templars he mistakenly believed🎶 to be behind the attack.
Edward Kenway: Greed
Blinded by his quest for glory, Edward Kenway lost many of those closest to him, including the one person who saw his potential and pushed him to change his ways — Mary Reed. After failing to save her life, Mary's dyin✱g wish 🃏was for Edward to clean up his act and to make amends for the sins of his past by becoming the better man she knew him to be.
Edward went on to find solace and direction as a member of the Assassins.꧃ In 𓆏the end, he truly believed in the tenants of the Creed, transforming from a lowly pirate to a leader of the British Brotherhood of Assassins.

After Evie left London and their gang, the Rooks, in the hands of her brother Jacob, it wasn't long before things went wrong. Jacob's tormented apprentice, who went on to go by the name of Jack the Ripper, lost faith in his leadership and began working toward usurping Jacob, with his twisted view of the creed. Jacob sent female assassins, disguised as prostitutes, to their deaths🥀 in an attempt to stop Jack, who brutally murdered them. Jack then took control of the Rooks and imprisoned Jacob.
Eventually, Evie came to investigate after getting word of the problem from her brother just before his disappearance. After a gruelling investigation, Evie managed to defeat and kill the Ripper, find Jacob, and restore theᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚ Rooks to the Frye twins.
Bayek of Siwa: Killing His Son
Before Bayek and his w🎃ife Aya created the Hidden Ones (the precursors to the Brotherhood), they worked as Medjays to the Emporer of Egypt and had a son, Khemu, together.
