168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Assassin's Creed, from Ubisoft, is known for many things as a franchise. Originally the focus was on 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:stealth-based gameplay that mixed in fantasized🍒 real-world history, and these days the latter may still be ༺true, but the former is all but gone.
The series has morphed into one focused on 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:open-world gameplay with role-playing game elements. Despite the gameplay and design changes, one thing has remained true all along, and that's that the lore is unique, interesting, and completely non-sensical at times.
6 🦄 Who Are The Isu? ⛎
The Isu, in the world of Assassin's Creed, are greater beings that are humanoid in appearance and highly advanced. It isn't clear how or why they came to rule over Earth for such a long time, but their influence on it and the people who came to populate most of its land is pretty clear. The Isu is a cautionary tale of how curiosity tends to get the best of people.
They were a well-populated group of beings, with some of the Isu holding higher positions of power. Three of the more prominent representatives of the ancients were known as Juno, Minerva, and Jupiter. They're responsible for the creation of humans, the very creatures that led to the downfall of the Isu.
5 Their Sixth Sense 🍌
Since they very clearly resemble the humans they created, it is safe to assume they function very similarly to them, but that's not entirely true. The Isu created humans with the natural five senses but happened to leave one out and keep it for themselves. Having been intelligent enough to create another form of living beings, they understood that they needed to keep something advantageous in order to maintain their power and control.
This sixth sense is known as "knowledge". It's never fully explained what this sixth sense offers, but considering the Isu have been considered partially precognitive, it's safe to assume that the ability to see forward in time might be its purpose. It aided them in many situations, but it didn't, however, prevent the uprising that led to the Great Catastrophe. That means their precognitive powers had many weaknesses and they weren't necessarily the gods they were perceived to be.
4 🔯 What They Created
By now it's clear that the Isu 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:created humanity in their vision, but it wasn't for altruistic purposes. Members of the Isu stated that they purposely made humans lack wisdom in an effort to ensure that they were more easily obedient and less rebellious and or disobedient towards order.
The Templar Order has this same core belief, in that humans shouldn't have free will, because Earth would never reach a utopian state because humans are naturally chaotic. Removing the free will of humans seems like a drastic measure for the Isu, but they had a right to be concerned considering these very humans they created would ultimately bring an end to the Isu's reign over Earth.
3 ♏ When They Were Active ♍
When the Isu were ruling over the Earth, their power didn't only reside in their technology, they were said to tower over humans with many of them standing close to two feet taller in height. Their rule and larger-than-life personas are very similar to that of the pantheons in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Greek and Roman mythology. Outside of that, there weren't many similarities considering the Isu lacked the magical and mystical powers often attributed to gods of those mythological pantheons.
The Isu Era was the time in which they were the rulers of Earth and is also referred to as the Eponym꧑ous Era. Despite their power, they never enjoyed being called gods and would correct people when they would do so. At the end of the day, all they really wanted was for the wo🍃rld to be at peace.
2 🌠How Long 🌃They Ruled For
No matter how long something or someone rules for, it's never clear if they overstayed their welcome, or if they were best suited for the role. When it comes to the Isu, it's believed that they ruled Earth for roughly 77,000 years, before the Great Catastrophe resulted in their downfall.
Their history is shrouded in plenty of mystery, so the length of their reign is an approximation, and not precise. The Templar Order holds many of the values the Isu held close, so in some ways, they still rule over Earth in some capacity. It's astounding that remnants of the Isu lasted as long as they did after what many considered to be their absolute downfall.
1 T🐬he Great Catastroph🌄e
Like many fables, the Isu ended up being the creators of their very downfall. It was humans that would ultimately take them down, and dwindle their numbers to near-extinct levels. The Great Catastrophe was a war between humans and the Isu that started as a result of Adam and Eve stealing 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the Apple of Eden.
Humans, having the numbers advantage, quickly overwhelmed and defeated the Isu, despite the large technological gap between the two forces. They were simply overwhelmed by the sheer number of soldiers and their enemies disposed of them. There's often something poetic about creators being destroyed by their own creations.
