The world of , especially the newest game Valhalla, is filled with a variety of characters that spans thousands of years of history. Whether those characters are fictional or 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:important historical figures, the characters that has shown players have been on all levels of the personality spectrum. One of the more recent characters introduced is 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Valhalla protagonist Eivor's adopted brother, Sigurd.
Love or hate the guy, he is an important character in꧋ the game's story and is someone a lot of people in Ravensthorpe look up to. But there is a lot ဣto the guy that is not fully discussed in the game. Here are 10 facts about the Norse warrior that most might not know about him.
10 ဣ 🏅 His Backstory
Sigurd was raised by his father, Styrbjorn of Fornburg who is the king of the town. This made Sigurd its prince which almost came to an abrupt enꦇd when a feast for his father was interrupted by Kjotve the Cruel.
Despite only being a teenager at the time he took part in the fighting and was able to rescue a young Eivor, who had just witnessed Kjotve kill their parents, from dying. After the battle was over, Eivor was adopted✤ by Styrbjorn and became Sigurd's adopted sibling. This begins th✃e close relationship the two would have over the years.
9 🔯 How He Married Randvi
At some point, Sigurd would eventually marry Randvi. It is unknown how the two were wedded but it is eventua🍃lly revealed by Randvi in a side quest.
The marriage was an arra🌞nged one that served as a sort of peace arrangement between both Sigurd's and Randvi's clan. Despite being married, there is not a whole lot of love between the two.
8 He Is A Bad Husband ❀
The reason the marriage between the two is mostly loveless is because Sigurd is away from her most of the time. Whether that be away on conquest at the start of the game or working to form alliances once they and Eivor arrive and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:create the settlement, Ravensthorpe.
Even Sigurd admits at the end of the game there is not a whole lot of love in their marriage. During the Taken For Granted side quest, Eivor could actually romance Randvi and encourage her to cheat on Sigurd. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:A dark thing to do behind Sigurd's back.
7 His First Encounter With A Hidden O♒ne
Though his meeting with 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the Hidden Ones, a.k.a. Assassins, Basim and Hytham is well known, they were not the first Hidden Ones that he met. In the Song of Glory prequel comic, Sigurd came across the member known as Amm🥀on around 870 A.D.
The two got into a fight to the death but S🎐igurd was able to withstand Ammon's assault. As a trophy, he took Ammon's hidden blade. This is oddly never mentioned in-game so it can be assumed that Sigurd left this part out to Basim and Hytham.
6 How He Met Basim And Hytham🌃 🐻
Sigurd said he first met Basim and his apprentice in some ways, Hytham when he was exploring Constantinople which is now Istanbul, Turkey. It was here that Sigurd became intrigued with what Basim had to show him and where he first found out about the conflict between the Hidden Ones and Order Of The Ancients, a prequ♏el ord♛er to the Templars.
He also traveled to both Rome and Egypt with them where he learned more about them. The fact that Sigurd brought them to Norway with him shows how close Sigurd and Basim had gotte🧸n.
5 🐼 He Is The Reincarnation Of Tyr
As revealed in the dream sequences set in Asgard and Jotunheim, the Nors🅰e gods were Isu, a race that created humanity and inhabited Earth before them. They then drank a substance when Ragnarok came that would ensure they be reincarnated in another life.
Sigurd is the reincarnation of Tyr, the Norse god of war and justice. This is highlighted by the fact that both sound the same and the🔯y end up having an arm amputated at some point.
4 He Will Find Out Eivor Slept With Randvi 💛
After being rescued from Fulke, Sigurd is a changed man that is now highly irritable and seems extremely arrogant on the topic of his bloodline which he claims lets him see things. One of these things is finding out that Ra🔜ndvi cheated on him with Eivor if Eivor decided to sleep with her in the Taken For Granted quest.
This is one decision that will affect a major decision Sigurd makes at the end of the game (more on that later). In a way, this is the betrayal that was pr💝edicted for E💦ivor's future in the beginning of the game. He also ends up calling off his marriage to Randvi though this happens regardless of the decision made.
3 🌟 He Will Also Find Out If Dag Was Sent To Valhalla💦
Anoꦰther major choice is what the player decides what to do with Dag was a Viking that was incredibly loyal to Sigurd and♌ was unsure of Eivor's ability to lead in Sigurd's absence. Over the course of the game, Dag becomes so paranoid over the fact that Eivor is trying to steal the leadership of the clan that he eventually challenges Eivor to duel him to the death for the role until Sigurd returns.
Eivor wins and will have the choice of gi🌠ving Dag his axe, which will send him to Valhalla, or deny him both. Sigurd will later find out about this as well and will be happy if Eivor granted him Valhalla but upset if they denied Dag Valhalla.
2 ♏ Certain Decisions Will Affect Whether He Stays In Norway Or Returns To England
Spoilers warning! At the end of the game, after dealing with Bꦦasim's betrayal, Sigurd will go over five major deci♌sions in the game when it came to Eivor trusting him, two of which were the previous two entries.
The other three were rather Eivor left or stole Sigurd's father's supplies in Norway, if Eivor punched Basim in an argument in Oxenforschire, and whether Eivor sided with Sigurd's judgment in a dispute between two Ravensthorpe NP🎃Cs.
If Eivor makes three choices out of the five that show his trust in Sigurd, he will return to England which is considered the good ending. Otherwise, Sigurd will stay in Norway if Eivor made decisions that showed no trust in Sigurd. This is something most people might miss🍌 on their first playthrough.
1 He Changes The Most Out Of The Game ꦅ
💫Out of all the ch🍷aracters in the game, Sigurd is probably the one that goes through the most change throughout the game. He goes to a charismatic battle-seeker to a broken egotistical man to a content and trusting individual.
This is highlighted by the fact he hands the role of leader of the Raven Clan over to Eivor, regardless of Sigurd's choice. He also has enough humility to♔ admit he has no feelings for Randvi anymore, as previously stated. Though he may have seemed a lost cause at some point, sometimes having the right person around 🐲someone can bring out the good in people, as with Sigurd.
