There are a lot of new mechanics in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Assassin's Creed Valhalla that might take longtime fans a bit of time getting used to. Mechanics such as the focus on building specific weapons rather than a bunch of different trash weapons, the new combat changes, or even the Raiding system. But, one aspect of Valhalla that is pretty easy to lear⛦n right away is the Settlement s🌼ystem꧑ཧ, where players use the supplies and raw materials they gained during raids to construct new buildings for Ravensthorpe.

That said, while the first few locations built are basically mandatory (the Blacksmith and the Hidden One's Bureau), the rest of them are completely up to the player. And, to save everyone some extra grief, here are the ones people should probably wait on, and the more useful o🐻nes to get started gathering resources for right away.

10 💯 ✱ Immediately: Cartographer

Assassin's Creed Valhalla: Cartographer Menu In-Game

Currently, when Eivor gets close enough to any of the glowing spots in their immediate a♏rea, Odin's Sight pins the compass on the top of the screen and shows players exactly what the item is, be it armor, a weapon, a Book of Knowledge, or something else. But, thats only if they can get close enough, and at that point, they're already within reach so might as well snatch them up. Saving time with this is exactly what the Cartographer is for, as building this location and purchasing the maps from it automatically reveals what type of resource all these spots are.

9 😼 Wait On: The Fishing Hut꧅

Assassin's Creed Valhalla: How The Fishing Hut Looks When Built

Almost every video game these days has a fishing mini-game in it, so of course, Eivor can fish as well and turn in their hauls to a collector of sor⛄ts. To unlock this ability, Eivor needs to build the Fishing Hut. But a task of grave importance, this is not. Fishings nicꦺe, but is not at all a central game mechanic. And, this Hut really isn't much more than a place where Eivor can trಞade in fish they've collected over quite a long amount of time for some frankly lackluster rewards.

8 🐻 Immediately: Barracks

Assassin's Creed Valhalla: Building The Barracks

The Barracks may not sound like a great investmentꦕ at first, it's a location that allows Eivor to create a Jomsviking that they can't even use for themselves. But, the Barracks actually serve as a way to pa♌ssively generate Silver & are also the customization tool for Raiding parties. Basically, once this location is built, Eivor can create their own build-a-Jomsviking and send them out into the world to be recruited by other players. And, when checking back with the Quartermaster at the Barracks, if a player's Jomsviking has been hired, Eivor then gets that the silver they paid (which is usually a lot, especially early on).

7 Wait On: Th🐻e Hunter's Hut

Assassin's Creed Valhalla: Eivor Looking At The Hunters Hut

The Hunters Hut, just like the Fishing Hut, is a great location but maybe not on🔥e that players need to worry about building right away. Granted, it's is leaps and bounds more useful than the Fishing Hut, as players passively come across animals all the time, and it usually takes 2 seconds to hunt൲ & loot them, but it's still just a long list of resources for Eivor to trade in that will still be there if built later.

The only real thing players are missing out by not building this early is 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the option to hunt🦩 Mysterious Legendary Animals like in Odyssey, but only the Elk of Bloody Peaks is actually beatab✃le early on,ꦑ as the next tier up (the Bear of the Blue Waters in Norway) is 100+ Power Level.

6 💯 Immediately: Valka The Seer's Hu🐟t

Assassin's Creed Valhalla: Eivor In Asgard Thanks To Velke's Potion

The Supernatural side of Valhalla starts showing itself pretty early on thanks to Valka the Seer and her potions that cause Eivor to dream-teleport to Asgard. While there, Eivor take🌊s control of "Havi" and gets to have all these supernatural adventures defending their realm from Jotunheim and more. Players can easily avoid/sk🍒ip this content if it's not what they're looking for, but it adds a lot to the overall story and there's no reason not to go there as soon as it becomes available.

5 🅰 Wait On: Octavian's Museum 🐎

Assassin's Creed Valhalla: The Museum In The Ruins

Roman Artifacts are Valhalla's version of random collectibles that are usually locked behind of a puzzle of some sort, and hum with a frankly terrifying noise once Eivor gets close. But, what exactly are they used for? Another part of the new settlement system, aꦿs it turns out. If the player collects 5 of them and builds Oc♌tavian's Museum back in Ravensthorpe they can unlock...new settlement decorations? Yeah, no need to go much further than that, but obviously build the locations that actually affect gameplay first rather than this off-brand Blather's Museum.

4 ꧅ Immediately: Stable and Aviary

Assassin's Creed Valhalla: A Look At The Stable

The Stable And Aviary is another one of those Settlement Locations that feels like part of the tutorial, but some players just ignored it since they already had a horse and a raven. But, this location doesn't just offer new mount skins (though who would choose anything but the giant wolf), i💝t also offers training courses to upgrade certain aspects of Eivor's steed. All of them are really helpful upgrades, especially the one that allows animals to swim in deep water.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla: Eivor's Crew All Feasting Together

One of the best new mechanics within AC: Valhalla's Settlement system is feasting. Essentially, Eivor goes up to ♛the big silver bell by the side-entrance to the Longhouse and rings the bell, then a cutscene happens where all of Ravensthorpe gets together and throws a big feast. Afterward, Eivor gets a nice buff or series of buffs for a limited time. It's easy, the cutscene is skippable, and it's very on-brand with the Viking brand.

And, while the Feast buff does get pretty absurd one players build the wide variety of locations that add to it, it's not exactly something early-game kids need to worry about. Not that it's overly complex or anything, especially compared to something lik൲e Red Dead Redemption 2's settlement system, it's just not an immediate focus is all.

2 Immediately: The Trading Post ꧂

Assassin's Creed Valhalla: Eivor Talking To Yanli At The Trading Post

There are a ton of trading posts spread throughout both England and Norway, but having an extra one is always worthwhile. At each of these places, Eivor can sell items for money here, buy usef𒀰ul items like more rations, arrows, or leather/iron, and even some weapons and shields. Nevermind the gigantic list of Settlement cosmetics and tattoo's as well. The total amount of silver and items that each shop carries is independent, so having one built right at home is a very smart call.

1 Waꦦit On: The Tattoo & Barbersh൩op

Assassin's Creed Valhalla: Eivor About To Change Their Appearance

And lastly, the Tattoo/Barbershop is another purely cosmetic location for Eivor. Granted, after moving to England, it's very hard to change hairstyles or tats anywhere else on the map, but Eivor is usually covered up most of the time, so these cosmetic changes aren't even that noticeable. Personally, we changed our tattoos (168澳洲幸运5开奖网:back especially) and hair constantly, but it still doesn't make the location any morඣe useful gameplay-wise.
