Yesterday's "gameplay reveal" trailer for 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Assassin's Creed Valhalla was anything but interesting. Despite Ubisoft saying it would be showing off footage of the game running on Microsoft's latest console, what we got was aಞ less than two-minute-long teaser of in-engine footage that maybe had 10 seconds of gameplay sprinkled in. For all intents and purposes, it was a dud of a stream closer.

Speaking on Twitter last night, the game's creative director (Ashraf Ismail) addressed concerns over the lack of gameplay and promised that more would be coming soon. "You rightfully expected to 𒈔see more today," Ismail wrotꩵe. "We have a long marketing campaign ahead of us, you will see in-depth gameplay and get a lot more info about the game."

168澳洲幸运5开奖网:As I wrote in a short op/ed yesterday, it's not that Valhalla looks bad or that Ubisoft is doing something wrong. It was more the wording Ubisoft used in the lead up to the trailer. Yesterday's trailer was not only incredibly boring, but it also gave us absolutely zero ideas about how Valhalla will be differe✃nt -or🥂 similar- to its predecessors. We just know it is coming and will be on next-gen consoles.

Lackluster trailer aside, there's no reason to be upset here. Most triple-A publishers run long marketing campaigns with the intent of having hype boil over by the time of release. The art of selling a product is practically a science at this point, so it is understandable why Valhalla isn't showing off much yet. It just goes back to what Ubis🌠oft had said after showing us the first tea🀅ser trailer.

At any rate, it seems like the developers are looking to right this wrong and will be going more in-depth in the future. The next time we see Valhalla (which will likely be around when E3 would have happened), we'll probably have a longer expose on everything that make🎃s this entry unique.

For now, we can marvel at 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the collector's edition that comes with a statue of the female version of its main character, Eivor. It isn't the ༒most exciting statue around, but f🦄ans are sure to want it in their collection.
