Ubisoft earlier today r💖eleased a hotfix for an Assassin's✃ Creed Valhalla bug that was preventing you from completing A Seer's Solace.

The⭕ quest is one of the first you'll complete in Valhalla, sending you to seek out the guidance of Valka, the seer of the Raven Clan. Eivor had a confusing vision after reclaiming her father's axe and needs the seer's assistance in making sense of it all. It's a straightforward quest, and one that helps push the story forward in an interesting new direction.

However, many players weren't able to start the quest at all. For some odd reason, many players didn't have the quest icon🌊 indicator appearing on their map and there was no way to force the quest to start. Whatever the issue, Ubisoft has finally figཧured it out:

In order fo꧂r the update to take effect, you'll need to completely close out of the game. Ubisoft also recommends "to attempt completion of the quest immediately upon loading your savegame." Before the hotfix, your best bet for getting the mission to load properly was simply turning off your console and reloading the game. Others have reported the need to and begin Valhalla from scratch – not the💖 most ideal way to kick off your Nordic journey.

Massive open-world games like Assassin's Creed Valhalla are always prone to bugs on release day. No maꦅtter how much testing developers do beforehand, there's no good way to simulate what millions of players will do on launch. Still, it's disheartening to see so many people impacted by a game-breaking bug this early in V💯alhalla's main story – although we're glad Ubisoft worked out the kinks as fast as it did.
