As part of the launch, Tourism Ireland shared a video comparing the in-game locations t🐈o their real-life counterparts, and it shows just how accurate Wrath of the Druids was in its depiction of Ireland.
Locations to feature in the DLC include Dublin, The Giant’s Causeway, and The Hill of Tara. Part of the campaign will involve teaming up with Twit🔯ch streamers across Europe to promote Irish tourism to their viewers, encouraging them to visit the island of Ireland themselves.
Mark Henry, Tourism Ireland’s Central Marketing Director is confident this move could encourage gamers to come and exploꦚre the country. Speaking at the launch, he s🎃aid, “Ubisoft has done an incredible job in bringing aspects of Celtic Ireland to life in amazing detail. Tourism Ireland’s campaign is a fun and innovative way to bring the island of Ireland to the attention of a new audience of gamers. We want to spike players’ curiosity about the featured locations and inspire them to come and explore them in the real world.”
Ireland isn’t the only location that Assassin’s Creed Valhalla could promote. The next expansion will take players to France, in a story titled The Siege of Paris.
