While the guesswork is inevitable up to the actual release of the game, its the perfect time to take a look back at the series and ask the questions that fans may have. This series has grown in incredible ways since its initial release in 2007, and with such changes come questions with how the series has and will evolve. These are ten questions we still want answered in the Assassin's Creed universe.

10 🎃 W🎉hat's Happening In The Modern Day?

Assassin's Creed has been known to tell two stories simultaneously: the genetic exploration of the game's main character's memories, and the modern-day story. Desmond, the modern-day protagonist for a while, was beloved by fans. Now the modern-day story focuses on Layla Hassan, an Abstergo employee. She has since teamed up with William Miles and the Assassins, and players are curious to🌃 see what has been going on with them.

9 How 𒁃Will Eivor Connect With The Assassins? ꦇ

The main character of Assassin's Creed Valhalla, Eivor, is shown in the cinematic trailer to be in possession of a hidden blade; the tell-tale weapon of the Assassins. This means that Eivor will certainly encounter the Assassins﷽ at some point, leaving the obvious question of how? As a Viking who, according to the trailer, seems focused on doing Viking things like tending to their settlement and , what could Eivor do to get involved with them to procure 𒀰a hidden blade of his own?

8 🌟 Are There More Pie𓆉ces Of Eden?

Pieces of Eden have become more prevalent with another apple of Eden in the Curse Of The Pharaohs DLC for Assassin's Creed: OriginsAssassin's Creed Odyssey introduced the Staff of Hermes and the Spear of Leonidas as Isu artifacts. One question fans may have is whether or not there are more Pieces of Eden floating through history, and will new pieces debut in Assassin's Creed Valhalla?

7 🍷 Are𝓀 The Norse Gods Also Isu?

One thing that The Fate Of Atlantis DLC for Assassin's Creed Odyssey revealed was that the gods of Greek mythology were actually of the Isu race. This opens up a possibility for gods across all mythologies and considering Valhalla will be dealing with a setting in which Norse mythology is prevalent, it could stand to reason that players could see the Norse gods getting the same treatment. It could also stand to reason that this could happen with other gods, and while it wasn't quite seen in Origins with the Egyptian gods to t🐽hat degree, it doesn't mean that it isn't a possibiꦇlity.

6 ꧃ How Has The Hidden Blade Evolved? 🌟

One of the most refreshing things about the Assassin's Creed Valhalla trailer was witnessing the return of the hidden blade; a that was absent in Assassin's Creed Odyssey until the Legacy Of The First Blade DLC. It was something that made Odyssey feel, distinctly un-Assassin's Creed-like.

It is interesting to see how Eivor utilizes his blade over the wrist instead of ❀under like players are used to seeing. While that could be just prefꦑerence, it certainly raises the question of what makes Eivor's blade different compared to Bayek's, or Ezio's, or Connor's.

5 Will T♓his Mark The End Of Another "Trilogy?"

Trilogies are a pattern in Assassin's Creed across the releases. The Ezio trilogy spans Assassin's Creed II, Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, and Assassin's Creed: Revelations. The Kenway saga consists of Assassin's Creed III, Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, and Assassin's Creed: Rogue. Considering Origins and Odyssey are games that bring players back to ancient times, would Valhalla round out this particular trilogy?

If so, where will the timeline bring its focus next? This is, unfortunately, another question fans may have that will only be answered with time, but with Valhalla already looking promising, the wait shouldn't be tܫoo unbearable.

4 ಞ Has The A𓄧ssassin Aesthetic Changed Forever?

Altaïr's character design was a template for future assassins in the series. Eventually, though, the white cloak and white hood became less of a requirement. Odyssey saw the hood as even less of a requirement, being an 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:armor piece that could easily be swapped out with something that had better stats. At this point in the series, it's hard to attribute a single visual aspect with the Assassin Brotherhood; and perhaps th𓃲at adds to the ever-important tenant of "hide in plain sight." Does this mean that future protagonists of the series are no longer regulated to a dress code? If so, it might not be such a bad thing, especially if it makes the characters seem more in place during their time period.

3 Sho🧸uld Players Still Care About The Animus?

The Animus was at the core of the story of Assassin's Creed for a very long time, and it technically still is considering how it allows the characters in the modern-day to explore the genetic memories of figures in the past. Still, the importance of the animus seems to fade with each subsequent game. At this point, beyond a practical standpoint, is it still integral to the storyline? Are there secrets to the Animus that are yet to be discovered? If so, it would be exciting to see how these things play into the story of Assassin's Creed Valhalla.

2 Where Is This Story Lead෴ing?

As with any series, there are questions about the future. That can mean a number of things but because the series has such a strong team of writers at its disposal, there surely is a roadmap for the narrative that the series has presented up to this point. The question is, of course, where is the story going? Once again, it's a question that might be answered by simply playing through the nexജt game, however knowing for certain that games aren't just being released for the sake of generating revenue would be assuring for any fan.

1 ♔ Where Are The As♔sassins And Templars?

Taking a look once more at Assassin's Creed Odyssey, the absence of the Assassins and Templars is another thing that made the game feel very distant from the lore of the series. Leading into Valhalla, fans of the series are surely wonder𝓡ing where these two integral groups are. One thing that is sure to help the upcoming entry shine would be the return of these groups to both the lore and the game itself. While playing characters labeled as "Proto-assassins" is fun and all, playing as a full-fledged Assass𒉰in may just be what the series needs to generate excitement and return the series to its former glory.
