Defensive Flora

Defensive flora are types of plants that only deal damage when you interact with the plant or are too close. Most of these florae only do a small amount of damage, but you should still be cautious. Miscellanous Flora

You will come across other unnamed flora while exploring the planets. These plants are not unique, and will provide Organic Material when destroyed with the terrain tool.

Researching Seeds

The research chamber allows you to research various items found across the planets. This includes giant pieces of space rock, as well as small seeds for the flora listed above. To make a few bytes, try to place unused seeds in the research chamber. Keep in mind, if seeds are left on the ground too long, they will start to disappear. You will either need to plant, sto🎃re, or research them.

Mutant Flora Variations

When destroying offensives plants, they may drop mutant seeds. Mutant seeds can be planted, but they will not grow a dangerous version of the plant. For example, if you plant a mutant hissbine seed, the grown plant will not be hostile. Mutant plants will slightly vary in color from the original plant. Additionally, you will be unable to research mutant variations of seeds.
