In a candid blog to the community of gamers who have made Niantic what it is today, CEO John Hanke addressed several important points for looking towards the future of their games, including 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Pokémon GO, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Harry Potter: Wizards Unite, and Ingress Prime. Key among them was that despite the challenges faced in the world today and the need to self isolate indoors, players will still be able to team up with friends in Pokémon GO and take on Ra🌼id Battles, all without having to leave their h♍omes.
Leading up to the ann✃ouncement, Hanke writes, “We created Niantic with a missi༒on to help people get outside, exercise, and explore the world, with the ultimate goal of helping people connect with others.” Obviously, this can prove challenging when everyone has a duty to self-isolate, so Niantic is adding to their roadmap ways to allow users to play inside and around the home in the coming day and weeks.
As Pokémon GO can be a deep social experience for some players, there will be changes coming in the form of virtual social feaꦕtures that allow players to meet in game when they cannot otherwise meet in person. This is where Raid Battles will be tackled as a group, even when apart.
The second ❀consideration is for exercise, which will come in the form of allowing Adventure Sync to track steps inside the house, with improvements coming to work more efficiently with indoor movement and activity.
Third is how players explore the world, and this is an interesting point to keep an eye on for the future. Niantic states that, “Explore: we’re also looking into how we can help players virtually visit and share memories about their favorite real-world places.” On the surface, this sounds like GPS spoofing, a commonly used tactic by players to cheat ♛around a map in an instant to farm rare Pokémon, which is obviously not allowed.
Finally, Live Events are being reconsidered in a similar vein, with the idea of bringing together the most passionate of players in a safe way. Little has been revealed on this last detail, but we’re certainly excited at what this could entail in terms of celebrating Pokémon GO w🙈ith other fans, even if it we need to do it f🍸rom home.
These roadmap objectives combined with all of the improvements made to allow for easy play at home, as seen with the recent change and promotion for Incense, leave us incredibly hopeful for Pokémon GO, whicܫh looks to be a fantastic game now and in the future when we are able to leave our homes once again.
