Mother Jago's Herbalism Book is somewhere in the old castle that the druids use as a base, but that doesn't give you much to go on - the castle is pretty big, ꧒after a𒀰ll, and the druids don't take kindly to trespassers.
How To Find Mother Jago
In the Casterfell Woods, you'll find several hints to Mother Jago's presence. She leaves notes on phone boxes advertising her services as a trader, and if you infiltrate druid territory before meeting her,ꦚ you'll find several notes alluding to her connectio🌃n to the cult and the Voice In The Soil.
Mother Jago lives at the Old Mine, located at 27.2E, 92.2N in Casterfell Woods. That places her near the northeast corner of the map, and just north of the Garden Centre, a fairly dꦰangerous druid encampment full of swarming wasp nests.
Even if you don't take the quest, Mother Jago can still trade for Antidotes and vegetables, and she also has the Antidote crafti♒ng recipe available so that you can make more in the field.
Where Is Mother Jago's Book?
The castle is on the complete opposite side of the Casterfell Woods, in the southwest corner. You can sneak or fight your way in through the courtyard; either way, you'll need to reach the main doors at the top of the hill.
If you don't mind dodging arrows by moving left and right as you run, you can usually make it to the castle doors by just sprinting straight through. It's probably best if you at least try to be stealthy𒐪 first, though.
Once you're inside the castle, go to the storeroom on the left to get the Castle Key from the counter, then use in on the secret panel in the wall behind the throne. Inside the secret passage, go right to find the herbalists' workshop.
Beware of patrolling druids, but don't worry too much if you take damage; the feast hall and surrounding rooms have plenty of food that you can heal with if needed.
The table on the left in the apothecary has the recipe for Strange Tonic, which helps fight off infection, as well as some Spores that can be used for crafting your first batch. Mother Jago's book is on the center table. It takes up an inventory slot, so be sure you have room to carry it back to h🃏er.
If you're feeling brave, you can get the Castle Key from the left side of the castle and open the secret passage behind the throne. Killing the High Priestess at the bottom of the caves yields an𝄹 Atom Battery, and behind her pulpit is a secret exit that you can use to 🌸slip out into the woods with less trouble from the gate guards.

Quest Reward
Returning the book to Mother Jago opens a second, optional quest if you present yourself as open to Mother Jago's spiritual ideas. She'll give you an Offering, which makes druids non-vio𓆉lent toward you while you carry it, s✅o long as you don't attack them first.
If you bring the Offering to the Speaking Cave between the castle and the Sewer Tunnels, and place it at the feet of the idol inside, Mother Jago will meet you at the entrance when you leave. Keep going along with her ideas (even if you don't plan to follow through) and she'll give you more leads about the 🦹Interchange and how to reach it.
