The original creators of Auto Chess are partnering with Epic to create a ver🌊sion of their breakout hit for the Epic Games Store.
If you haven’t played Dota 2’s Auto Chess Mod, you really should. It’s unlike anything you’ve ever played before and is a big switch from the frenetic action of most MOBAs. That’s probably because Auto Chess takes the classic MOBA formula and compresses it into an 8x8 gam🍎e boa♏rd where the player manages an economy and deck of cards rather than a single hero’s inventory and actions.
It’s also extremely popular, so much so that Valve actually invited Drodo Studios, the Chinese developer of Auto Chess, to visit them in Seattle, Washington to discuss 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:making a stand-alone version of the game specifically for Steam.
That m🔴eeting eventually ended with an agreement for Valve and Drodo to each make their own version of the game. A statement from Valve revealed that the two developers couldn’t work together "for a variety of reasons,” but would “support🦂 each other to the fullest” while they co-created their own separate games.
However, that spirit of cooperation is unlikely to last due to Drodo’s latest announcement. Drodo Studios has decided to partner with Epic Games to create a version of Auto Chess ဣthat will be an Epic Games Store exclusive title.
The announcement came at the PC Gaming Show last Monday from Loring Lee, co-founder and CEO of publisher Dragonest, who will be working with Epic and Drodo in the creation of the new game. It will simply be called “Auto Chess” and will come in botꩲh PC an🌸d mobile versions, with the PC version being created in Epic’s Unreal 4 engine, while the mobile version will be made with Unity.
In an interview wi𝐆th , Lee revealed that the biggest difference betw💛een Valve’s Auto Chess and Epic’s will simply be the models and skins used for each character on the board.
There was no mention of a release date or price, but you can🐽 expect Epic to make an announcement later on🙈 with details.
