Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics’ 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Marvel’s Avengers is hitting PC and console on September 4th, and one word hangs around it like a bad smell: microtransactions. More or less every big-name title has them baked into their game nowadays, and Marvel’s Avengers is no different.

First things first: take it easy. However, to access all rewards for any post-launch characters' Hero Challenge Cards, players will need to pay 1,000 credits, or $10 USD. The 6 base game characters will have their Hero Challenge Card unlocked for free.

Marvels Avengers Hero Challenge Card

Hero Challenge Cards will allow players to coll♛ect Resources, Units, Credits, cosmetics, and more as a reward for completing challenges. As Crystal Dynamics put it, “do cool things to earn cool rewards”. Each Hero Challenge Card has 40 tiers of free and premium rewards, with a cumulative value of 12,500 Credits. All prizes are cosmetic and won't offer gameplay advantages. Notably, maxing out a Hero Challenge Card and acquiring all its rewards will give a player enough Credits to buy another pass.

But the best thing about these Challenge Cards? There’s no time limit, so players can sit on Cards for as long as they like without falling prey to FOMO—the fear of missing out. The cards don't rotate and Crystal Dynamics has stated that they don't plan on retiring cards, so players could easily unlock a hero's Challenge Card and then sit on it for as long as they want. Players can also buy skips to advance to the next tier of the Card, but Marvel's Avengers seems to be trying to ensu🦂re that players♐ can progress through the Challenge Card at their own pace without having to worry about a deadline.

Moreover, the game will be activating the pre🐲mium tiers for the game’s six starting characters’ as a freebie, so players will be able to access🔥 all rewards for each characters’ cards from the get-go. Players can use the Credits from completing these complementary Challenge Cards to unlock the premium rewards for future characters' cards.

While "not as predatory as it could be" is a very low bar for any video game, Marvel's Avengers' take on the batt💧le pass still feels like a victory, considering how much money could have been made off the Avengers' name alo♌ne.
