Avowed is out in early access now, letting anyone with the premium edition play a few days ahead of the game's full launch. Many have been using the chance to dive right into Obsidian's latest RPG, and 𝓀oꦛne player has already come across an amusing easter egg.

This all revolves around the companion Kai, who is voiced by Brandon Keener. If that name (and voice) sounds familiar, it's because it probably is - Keener also voiced Garrus in the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Mass Effect trilogy. Now, it turns out that Obsidian couldn't resist the urge to throw 🐠in a reference to one of Keener's most popular roles, as there's a brief all▨usion to his romance in Avowed.

This line comes into play when the 🧔player and Kai are challenged to a fight. Kai pipes up, saying, "If you're sure. I✃'ve got plenty of reach".

Given the shared voice 🍰actor, it seems very, very likely that this is a reference to Garrus' line from Mass Effect 2, when he talks about the time he sparred, and then "sparred", with a former fellow soldier of his. "I had reach, but she had flexibility",﷽ he recalls about the encounter, in a line that is seared into the minds of anyone who has done his romance.

Unsurprisingly, Garrus fans are loving Kai so far. Any excuse to hear that wonderful voice again, of course. Alas, unlike BioWare, Obsidian 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:tends to avoid romance.
