Of course, there's much more going on than that, as the trailer ominously tells us to "choose [our] side" as we fight our way through our investigation.
New Avowed Trailer Reveals Story Details
Avowed is part of Obsidian's long-running 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Pillars of Eternity series. You don't need to have played the other games to understand what's going on here, but if you fancy giving them a go, you'll be starting with the original 2015 instalment. That should help you understand the setting a bit better going into Avowed's launch later this year.

After the success of the Fallout TV series, there had been some hope that Xbox would put Obsidian on another Fallout game, particularly since Bethesda isn't anywhere close to getting Fallout 5 out the door.
