Whether it be patching up yourself or an ally, there’s always a need for having a first aid kit ready. They’re sometimes available in locked rooms (only accessible with a tool kit) or different caches located around the current🎐 map. However, they don’t show up as much as other healing items like bandages or pain meds, and that’s because of how much more helpful first aid kits are.

Back 4 Blood. Doc being healed by Holly with Evangelo standing next to her. Defibrillator details on screen.

There’ll be no shortage of teammates who need reviving with how easy it is to get stun locked or trapped after being backed into a corner. These moments are unsurprisingly very stressful as you try to juggle defeating enemies, avoiding attacks, completing the mission, and reviving the member who is currently down. This is made even worse when a team member dies because, without a defibrillator, you can’t resuscitate them. That’s why it’s always a good tip to have one character with a defibrillator if you know the stage will be tricky to complete.

You might not need it, but it’s better to be safe; sometimes, enemy attacks can come out of nowhere as zombies ambush you or when a tallboy lands a hit with those enormous far-strꦉetching arms of theirs. The list of dangerous beings goes o🦋n, but all you should consider right now is whether you have a defibrillator prepared.
