Hide, attack, repeat. Rogues have always been quite the experience in D&D, and it's no different in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Baldur's Gate 3. In fact, as you control the whole team, you can use your Rogue — 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:or Astarion — to stealthily move through the map and cheese many encounters you'll ꦆface, giving a gameplay experience other classes can't offer to the same degree.
All that said, you can make your deadly shadow of a character even deadlier by giving them feats. Rogues can get 🧸four of those as they level up, and though we'd recommend buffing your dexterity in some of those instances, you can still get a couple with ease. Or get four feats; you do you.
Updated on March 3, 2024, by Lucas Olah: While we have already covered many of the best feats a Rogue can have, it never hurts to analyze more options — especially considering you have an extra opportunity to get a feat compared to most classes. Thus, if you want to make your Rogue deadlier, especially in melee combat, then we have a few more options for you to consider when building your sneaky character as they venture Faerûn through its shadows.
Athlete
For Better Maneuverability
Though Athlete wo💧n't help your offense, it'll he🌠lp you traverse maps with ease, which is particularly useful for ranged Rogues who are about to get surrounded. For starters, you can add a +1 to your Strength or your Dexterity.
Then, getting up after bein꧑g knocked prone won't take as much of your total movement, allowing you to still be able to re-position without necessarily wasting your action or bonus action dashing. Finally, your jump distance increases by 50 percent, so you can re-position yourself even better by jumping over whatever is in the way.
Dual Wielder
Two Weapons Are Better Than One
If you want to focus on melee combat, Dual Wielder might be a good pick for you — especially if you're multiclassing with a Fighter or something similar. By default, anyone can wield two weapons as long as both hဣave the light property. These weapons won't have more than a d6 in terms of their dama🦋ge, though.
With Dual Wielder, you can use any weapon as long as it is one-handed, meaning you can dual-wield rapiers, for instance🤪. Aside from that, your Armor Class will inc♓rease by one when dual-wielding, making the secondary weapon work like a half-shield. Thieves get an additional bonus action, meaning you can make up to three attacks or make two attacks and still have a bonus action to use something like Cunning Action.
Moderately Armored/Medium Armor Master
Mostly Medium Armor Master, But There Are Prerequisites Here
By default, whenever you wear medium armor, your AC will only get a +2 from your Dexterity despite its value, and you'll have a disadvantage on Stealth rolls with most of them. Medium Armor Master will ꦏlet that bonus go to a +3 and will annul the disadvantage. But there's a problem.

Baldur's Gate 3: Best Equipment For A Monk And Where To Find It
We take a look at the b🍨est equipment for monks in Baldur's Gate 3 and where t🌺o find it.
Also, by default, Rogues don't have proficiency in medium armor, meaning you need to find a way to get it. The feat Moderately Armored can give you that, but if you don't want to waste two feats just for armor, you can get it through some species like Dwarves and Githyanki or by multiclassing. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Some medium armors let you use your entire Dexterit🗹y bonus, so this proficiency is worth it for Rogues 🃏who stay close to their enemies.
Sentinel
Make Your Opportunity Attacks Stronger
Sentinel will give you 🎀more opportunities to trigger your opportunity attacks, as well as graver consequences to them. You'll be able to make an opportunity attack if someone in melee range of you attacks an ally, and all your opportunity attacks, regardless 🦩of the trigger, will have an advantage.
Lastly, when you hit someone with them, their movement will become zero, meaning they won't be able to move until their next turn, which is perfect for preventing enemies from running away. We recommend using 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Duellist's Prerogative along with this ෴feat, as the weapon gives you♔ an additional reaction.
Sharpshooter
Make Your Shots Hit Harder
Though having a finesse weapon is nice, a Rogue excels with ranged weapons. Thus, Sharpshooter will help dish oꦇut even more damage. First, it'll stop giving you a disadvantage when the enemy has high ground, which could stop you from performing a sneak attack.
Then, you can activate a special mechanic that will increase your damage by ten (at the cost of decreasing your attack roll by five). Still, if you 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:try to get an advantage as much as possible for your sneak attack, this is a good trade-off, especially because you can see the chance of hitting the target before striking. Even💫 with the penalty, the chance can be high, making it worth the attempt.
Alert
Going First Can Make A Lot Of Difference
This feat is perfect for Assassins, but any Rogue can enjoy it. It'll give you a +5 bonus on your initiative roll, and you can't be surpri💙sed. As a squishy class, not being caught by surprise is good enough, as you won't be🔥 mangled to death during an ambush.

Baldur's Gate 3: Every "Loyal" Throwable Weapon
Choose loyal w🍰eaꦫpons today and never have to pick up your throwables again!
Combine that with your high dexterity, and the +5 bonus will ♈ensure that you'll be the first on the initiative in most cases, too — or at least one of the first. As we mentioned, that's useful for Assassins because they get an advantage against enemies who haven't had a turn in combat yet. Essentially this is a free snജeak attack.
Lucky
Good For Fighting And Talking
Admittedly, this feat is good for everybody. It gives you three luck points, which you can use to give yourself an a🔥dvantage on an attack roll, saving throw or ability check. You can also use it to force an enemy to re-roll an attack, but if you're paying attention, you probably already know why we're recommending it.
Yes, it's another way to get an advantage. If you can'🧸t hide and have no allies near the big boss, this is the perfect way to trigger an advantage and, thus, a sneak attack. This feat, along with Sharpshooter, would make a deadly combo.
Crossbow Expert
No Need For Melee Weapons Here
As the name implies, you need to use a crossbow for this effect to work, so you may want to ditch bows for this on💮e — though if you settle on a bow later on, you can always respec your character with Withers and exchange this f🦩eat if it's no longer useful.
Essentially, you'll be able to shoot people in melee range without getting a disadvantage — so you don't need to worry about entering melee combat— and the weapon's will receive a longer duration in its secondary effect, gaping wounds, giving extra 🍸damage to later piercing attacks, which applies to your crossbow.
Dungeon Delver
Don't Let Traps Be The End For You
We've already got the best ones out of 🍸the way, but just in case your intentions for your character don't match the options above, let's talk about some exciting alternatives.
Dungeon Delver will give you an advantage on perception checks when detecting objects in the scenario, allowing you to find goodies or notice traps easily — somethinꦏg your character will be good at disarming (as🐼 a bonus tip, we highly encourage you to get expertise on sleight of hand).

Baldur's Gate 3: Should You Side With Nightsong Or Lorroakan?
You know which one is "the right choice", but will 💃you accept it?
If avoiding a trap fails, you'll have an advantage o✱n saving throws against said trap and resistance to its damage. Conside🌜ring how easily Rogues can disarm them, the first part is the best one, but it's always good to have a plan B, right?
Defensive Duelist
Avoiding Damage Is Always Good
As mentioned before, you're squishy. With this feat, you can give yourself a quick bonus to your armor class. More precisely, this bonus will be 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:equal to your proficiency bonus. Still, it will only last for on🔴e attack, costing your꧑ reaction to activate it.
It's not much, but it will help your defensive capabilities in cases of emergency. We'd recommend getting this one at later levels, though, when your proficiency bonus is a bit higher, too. It's situational, but it could save you f😼rom falling.
You can 🗹also get a defensive boost by making your charactཧer a Human or a Half-Elf, giving you shield proficiency, something Rogues don't get.
