Letting Volo Extract The Parasite

After 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:rescuing Volo from the goblin camp at the Shattered Sanctum, he will gladly go to your camp and wait for you there, brimming with gratitude.

When interacting with him at camp afterward, you'll have the option of confessing to him about the mindflayer parasite in your brain. Concerned, Volo will immediately pl♌edge his full attention to researching your issue.

After a long rest, Volo will hail you down and tell you that he has found a fix for your problems. You will then have the option to let him go through with his "solution".

If you already have 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the Hag's Eye, you will not be able to go through with this.

If you agree to it, Volo will proceed to try and fish the parasite out with a needle, and when that fails, he will try to do the same with an ice pick. You will have plenty of chances to stop him as he does so, but you can also choose to keep letting him carry on.

If you go through with the entire process, he will eventually accidentally blind you in a rather gruesome turn of events.

All of your companions will also disapprove of you letting Volo take an ice pick to y💖our eye, which, frankly, is understandable.

Ironically, there's a silver lining to this eye-opening experience! After Volo has dug out your eye, he will sheepishly make his departure, but not before making up for his disastrous attempt by giving you a magic eyeball: Volo's Ersatz Eye.

This new eyeball will allow you to see invisibility, which will be extremely useful when fighting fey creatures like the hag or the duergar in the Underdark. Note that this will take up your amulet slot.

If you don't want to go through this horrendous scene but you do want the eye... you can just kill Volo and loot th⭕e♉ eye from his corpse. Ick.
