This means characters were flinging themselves at the player way faster than they were supposed to, particularly everyone's favourite down-bad wizard, Gale.
When asked about how horny Baldur's Gate 3 was at launch, Vincke is quick to admit that "it was a bug." He says that approval thresholds were set too low, making everyone come across far too horny. Vincke also adds that some characters have been fixed, but others are still being tweaked to avoid coming on too strong.
"So... it was a bug," says Vincke, discussing the state of romances at launch. "The approval thresholds were too low when we shipped. That's why they were so horny in the beginning. It wasn't supposed to be that way. We've fixed it since, at least for some of them. We're still fixing a few of them."
In news that won't surprise anyone who has so much as breathed in Gale's general direction, it turns out he's the most affected by the bug.
"It wasn't intended," adds Vincke. "Especially Gale. [He] wasn't supposed to be like, instantly there."
Of course, the fan response hasn't been all that bad. More shagging seems to have pleased many players, but that isn't enough to dissuade Larian from patching the bug.
"There were a lot of people that enjoyed 🌜it. But it was too fast," Vincke says. "It was supposed to simulate how real relationships are." He also says that acting this way in real life would be "problematic". Which is very, very true.
So, if you find that you have less game in your second playthrough, it isn't just your imagination. Judging from what Vincke says, it sounds like us lot who just starting out on PS5 will also have to work for our romances a little harder than the folks on PC last month. Except with Gale, of course. I can confirm that one night at camp was enough for hi🃏m to pour his heart out to me.
All hope isn't lost for Gale just yet though, as we can expect a bunch more patches and hotfixes for Baldur's Gate 3. The next update will likely address a few issues on PS5 though, as players have 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:reported graphical bugs on ไthe platform.
