168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Baldur's Gate 3 is a pretty chunky game, with players spending up to over 100 hours just to see everything that the world has to offer. That's why it can be difficult to comprehend that developer Larian Studios actually cut a lot of stuff from the final product, some of it just mere weeks before the game's full release earlier this month. Thankfully, one committed fan has put it all together for us so we can easily see what could've been.

First shared to the Baldur's Gate 3 subreddit, a fan called u/Vasgorath has put together a full list of cut content that has been confirmed via either interviews with developers or gathered by dataminers. The result is a whopping collection of features, a lot them being substantial bits of gameplay that would've completely transformed the way we currently play Baldur's Gate 3. This includes everything from entire explorable areas to missing romance options.

We'll start with the biggest one and that's The Upper City, a huge area that was cut from the final game just a couple of weeks before launch that would've been completely explorable. This was revealed by Larian co-founder Swen Vincke, but dataminers also recently discovered that this location would've been crucial for an ending to Karlach's storyline. I won't go into details here as it's quite spoilery, but the whole list can be found by using the Reddit embed down below.

It's also been revealed that certain characters were meant to have much bigger roles in the story than they ended up having, including Minthara. Datamined voice lines implied that your companions had a lot more to say about Minthara than they do in the full game, and it's even believed that she was intended to go through a pregnancy. A romance option was also cut, as dialogue options that would've allowed you to rizz up Jaheira were removed from the final game for some unknown reason.

There are also signs that the latter stages of development at Larian may have been a little hectic, as an awful lot of content from Act 3 never ended up making it into the final game. Thousands of lines of companion dialogue were seemingly removed from Act 3, and the game was supposedly meant to include "full epilogue cutscenes" that would've made up the 17,000 en♔ding variations that🎃 Larian boasted about before launch, butꦕ these were scrapped as well in favor of a simple fade to black.

Of course, this is nothing new for game development, as a bunch of cool stuff pretty much always ends up on the cutting room floor. It's fun to look at what could've been though, and these cut concepts could even hint at some future DLC if Larian decides to revisit Baldur's Gate 3 at some point.
