Larian said they expect that an extra week will allow them to "tri💖ple check stability and localization" in order to ensure Bꦓaldur's Gate 3 doesn't have any large issues on launch day. They also noted that they've enlisted the help of a "World Tester" AI which "plays through the game at incredible speed, stress testing everything and pushing it to its limits."
The World Tester is currently playing thro🥂ugh the game, and although Larian has no illusions that an AI could be a better playtester than thousands of ravenous fans, they do want to make sure their fancy bot doesn't run into any major problems before they unleash their game on the public.
