In the expansive world of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Baldur's Gate 3, countless secrets and hidden locations await discovery. Taking inspiration from its tabletop roots, the game offers multiple solutions to challenges, with no one 'right' answer to any problem.
The Overgrown Ruins—one of the earliest dungeons that you can encounter—exemplifies this approach, with four distinct methods of progression you can choose depending on your playstyle. This guide aims to show you every single way to get into the ruins, where you'll be able to find a powerful weapon, an important amulet, several future quest-items, and a key NPC who will join your camp.
Method 1: The Ancient Door
After waking up next to the Nautiloid crash on the Ravaged Beach, you'll see a firmly-shut Ancient Door in the ruins to the north. It'll be right next to the Overgrown Ruins Waypoint (X:283 Y:300)
If you didn't rescue Shadowheart on the Nautiloid, you'll find her banging on this door. Otherwise, you'll find her unconscious body along the beach.
The door can't be broken down, but anyone with can attempt to lockpick it with Sleight of Hand. That said, the Difficulty Class (DC) is a staggeringly high 20.
Even if you end up breaking your lockpick in this door though, don't worry—there are several other ways to get behind it.
If successful, going through the door will put you in the south wing of the Dank Crypt, where you can brave a deadly trap to obtain a magical spear.
Astarion, with his high Dexterity and expertise in Sleight of Hand, will have a +11 bonus to lockpicking. It may be worth recruiting him from the nearby wreckage before attempting this method.
Method 2: The Hole In The Floor
Head west from the Ancient Door and clear out a horde of three Intellect Devourers to emerge on the other side of the Nautiloid wreckage.
Follow the path northeast, passing a trapped Mindflayer to eventually find the Roadside Cliffs Waypoint (X:223, Y:326).
Keep heading east to arrive at the Chapel Entrance, where you'll meet a few a group of tomb-raiders arguing among themselves. You'll be able to convince them to leave the area through a variety of social checks—failing🧸 that, however, you'll need to fight them off.
After (or during) the fight, shoot the Coiled Rope to drop a large rock onto the Cracked Tiles, b🎀reak🐻ing a hole through the floor into the ruins.
This will instantly kill any creatures🙈 standing under it, so wa🧸tch out!
Jumping into the hole will put you in the Refectory—follow the instructions in the next section to progress into the Dank Crypt.
This is a one-way entrance, and that you'll be faced with a fight with several raiders immediately upon entering.
Method 3: The Refectory
If jumping through dark holes in the ground isn't your thing, you can head north down the stairs to a closed door.
Knocking on the door will start a conversation with Andorn, one of the raiders. A successful DC 10 Performance or Deception check will convince him to unlock the door. Failing that, you can try to lockpick the door with a DC 7 Sleight of Hand check.
Once inside, you'll have to fight an (understandably) pretty angry Andorn. Once you've dealt with him, head further into the Refectory to fight five other raiders.
Ignite the oil barrels in the middle of th🤡e hallway with a dipped weapon or fire spell to take out🎃 multiple at once.
You'll notice a locked door on the west side of the hallway. You can break it down, or continue further south into a room with a statue and lots of books.
Head behind the statue, and a Perception Check will reveal a skull-shaped lever that you can push to open the locked door.
Going through the locked door will put you into the center of the Dank Crypt.
Method 4: The Hatch
Lastly, you can continue east from the Chapel Entrance, following the cliffside northeast.
After a short climb down from a ledge, you'll find a closed wooden Hatch.
Similarly to the Ancient Door, it'll be a tough DC 20 Sleight of Hand skill challenge to lockpick it successfully. Still, with some luck and expertise, it꧂'s entirel🧜y possible to get it open, even in the early game.
This will lead you to the north wing of the Dank Crypt, where you'll find several Soul Coins and Withers, a key future NPC.
