Unfortunately, gnomes and other short races have been under-picked and deserve a highlight for their abilities and various options that show off their incredible utility and magical defensive features, especially since racial stat bonuses have been removed with the official release.

6 Take Advantage Of Your 𝄹Size

Because gnomes are small, they can fit into narrow crevꩵices and hidden areas that are otherwise inaccessible to taller species. This makes having a gnome in your party especially useful because the other origin characters are all medium-sized, and will not be able to access the same areas as your custom character.

Areas in Act One that you want to pay attention to are in the druid grove. Specifically, the cave system controlled by thieving tiefling kids with a hidden entrance only available for small characters. In rare cases, you can also make better use of cover and avoid being the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:target of ranged attacks and spells that would otherwise have a 𒀰chan🐷ce to knock Gale unconscious for the hundredth time.

Although lacking the superior darkvision, forest gnomes automatically start with the spell. This spell is great to have, espec🐲ially in the early, game, where animal dialogue will lead to important exploration clues and even permanent buffs and allies.

Rock Gnome

Although rock gnome's have an additional bonus to History checks, this likely won't be as useful in actual play ꧟other than to unlock dialogue options or when interacting with objects. Since they have no other unique abilities other than standard darkvision, this makes them the worst choice out of all three subraces.
