Wulbren Bongle is the absolute worst person to ever walk the face of Faerûn. Or the pits of Faerûn, for that matter, since he was haunting the Underdark before he came to the surface. Of course, that might be the least controversial 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Baldur's Gate 3 opinion out there, as the deep gnome is168澳洲幸运5开奖网: often named the most hated character in the ga𓆏me.
Now, some players have taken this hate to a new level. Wulbren Bongle anti-fans are being invited to join a community dedicated to their hatred for the guy, in the form of a new subreddit fittingly titled r/f*ckwulbrenbongle. Except without the asterisk, because I'm not allowed to swear here. The subreddit is already over 300 members strong and is full of Baldur's Gate 3 fans venting about the guy. Turns out, they have a lot to say.
And of course, someone had to share the Baldur's Gate 3 diss track that gave the subreddit its name. In case you haven't heard it already, here it is, courtesy of the YouTube duo Space Bards.
So, why does everyone hate Wulbren Bongle so much, I hear you ask? Well, if you don't know, I can only assume it's because 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:you le𒅌ft him to die in Moonrise Towers, because he becomes extremelyౠ hateable the second you set him free.
Right off the bat, he's hardly grateful for the rescue. Sure, whatever. But then, if you reunite him with his longtime friend Barcus Wroot - who left the Underdark and 168澳洲幸运෴5开奖网:put himself in great dan🧸ger to find him - Wulbren coldly brushes him off. Say whatever you want to me, Wulbren, but mess with Barcus, and you've crossed the line.

Trying To Be Good With An Evil Party Is Impossible In Baldur's Gate 3
Minthara and Astarion, the two devil☂s on my shoulder.
It only gets worse from there. You can meet up with him again outside of the city in Act 3, and he's only excited to see you in the hopes that you'll blow up the Steel Watch Foundry for him. If you find a solution to this that still destroys the Foundry while also keeping the imprisoned Gondians alive, he'll try to kill them all anyway. The best outcome here is that you get his Ironhands to turn on him, with Barcus taking over as leader. He'll have a big cry and threaten to kill you all, before storming out of Baldur's Gate.
So, it's easy to see why he hasn't exactly endeared himself to most players. As the song highlights, he has a lot of problems and expects us to solve them. He mistreats Barcus at every turn, who risked his life to save him from the Aboslute cultists. And, even if you side with him at every turn, he'll try to kill you if you don't want to slaughter the Gondians. Nice fella.
Well and truly f*ck Wulbren Bongle. I'm glad the word is spreading.
