Just in case you didn't already think that was ridiculously detailed, it turns out that every companion has a special message hidden in their underwear. As I'm sure many of you have noticed by now, Baldur's Gate 3 finally launched on PC last week after six years of development. While it was already massively anticipated by those who played it in early access, it's become an even bigger deal than any of us thought, entrancing pretty much everyone whether they're into or not. One of the main reasons for this is the massive amount of depth and detail that's been poured into the world of the Forgotten Realms.ability to break sequences by stacking crꦆates in true D&D fashion, players have been sharing their discoveries far and wide since the game's launch. Forget all of that, though, as what I'm about to tell you is going to truly blow your mind and give you yet another reason to stare at Astarion and the rest of the companions - they've all got hidden messages in their underwear.[EMBED_TWITTER]//twitter.com/outstarwalker/status/1687839108108804096[/EMBED_TWITTER]That's right, , it turns out that checking each companion's underwear while equipping items for them in the inventory menu will provide a fun little description of their pants. For example, the description for Astarion's underwear reads, "Embroidered into the cloth: "If you're reading this, you managed to bed or behead me. Either way, you got lucky". Anyone else getting hot all of a sudden?Beyond implying that Astarion either only ever wears one pair of pants or has that embroidered into every pair that he owns, it's a nice little detail that adds to his character. He's not the only one, however. , "If pants could brood...", while Lae'zel's rather uncomfortable pair reads, "Built for function rather than fun".Finally, we have Wyll and Gale, who have two of the best descriptions. Gale's underwear reads, "Energy crackles around these. Gale wouldn't... Surely he wouldn't enchant his...", which makes a lot of sense for an aspiring wizard. Then there's Wyll, whose pants apparently read, "Long may these gird the Blade of Frontiers".[EMBED_TWITTER]//twitter.com/gilga10/status/1687926689211240449?s=20[/EMBED_TWITTER]They're mostly just meant to be fun little descriptors for the player to discover, but they do actually tell you a bit more about each companion, as the hidden message is quite fitting for each and every one of them. And even if it somehow wasn't, it's just another reason to look at Astarion's pants.
