168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Baldur's Gate 3 almost had another romance option: Jaheira. While she doesn't make any advances towards players in the game, it turns out that the Harper was planned to be one of the many campmates that we could hook up with.
This comes from an interview with , where Baldur's Gate 3 director Swen Vincke admits that Jaheira was discussed as a potential romance option. However, he says the team "ran out of time" to make this happen, leaving Jaheira (presumably) single after the events of the third game.
While some players may find this quite surprising, given that she still has feelings for her dead husband, Khalid, it wouldn't be the first time players could try to hit her up. Following Khalid's death at the start of the second game, Baldur's Gate 2 players could start a relationship with her, as long as they were playing as a male character.
If Jaheira was romanceable, that would have made Minsc the only companion we couldn't hook up with. But given that he was once intended to be an Origin character, that could have been very different too.
If she were romanceable in Baldur's Gate 3, she would be the only companion that can get with two different protagonists - Gorion's Ward and whoever you decide to play in the third game. It would also give her a different partner for every game she appears in, since she's also in the first Baldur's Gate alongside Khalid. She deserves it though, she's been through a lot.
This admission from Larian comes after some players claimed to datamine what appeared to be remnaꦉnts of the Jaheira romance. Admittedly, the about the cut material said that the romance dialogue it found for Jaheira was "limited", so it might be that this was either cut earlier on in her development once it was clear they wouldn't have the time, or it was only ever going to be a one night stand.
In any case, it's worth mentioning that Jaheira's actor, Tracy Wiles, supports a Jaheira romance. When we spoke with her at EGX 2023, she discussed how she felt it could be implemented into the game.

168澳洲幸运5开奖网: Interview: Tracy Wiles Is Jahe🌠ira
We sat down with Baldur's Gate 3 actor Tracy Wiles at EGX to explore ever💎y side of Jaheira - the mother, the fighter, and even the romantic.
“I understand it would be difficult to hear her talk so emotionally about Khalid. And then go, ‘Yeah, anyway, c’mon'," said Wiles. “But also I feel like Jaheira is in her prime. I know they go on about her being old. But look at her! Look at what she does. She fights, she’s strong. I’ve got a feeling that Jaheira has needs.
"It’s not an age thing. Halsin’s older than me. Astarion's older than me. I’m going to ask [Larian]. I don’t know whether they could add it in."
Well, now that we know it was planned... maybe Larian could add it in? We haven't seen a full romance added in a Baldur's Gate 3 patch before, but there's a first time for everything.
