Karlach is the biggest ray of sunshine in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Baldur's Gate 3, and not just because she could literally light up a room with her infernal engine. Despite having two separate lethal curses weighing her down with the engine and the tadpole, she remains as positiv🍬e as possible, living in the moment. She also gets on with literally everyone, seeing the best in every campmate, despite their past.
So, without delving into any specific spoilers just yet, it's pretty bloody frustrating that her endings aren't as positive as the rest of the gang. While most of the cast can get an ending that's fairly close to perfect, Karlach can't. Either way, she's missing something, and fans want that to change, calling on Larian to give her the ending she deserves.

Spoiler warning for Acts 2 and 3 of Baldur's Gate 3.
Act 2 is bittersweet for Karlach, as she finally gains the ability to touch people again, but also discovers that her infernal engine can't survive outside of Avernus. By the time Act 3 rolls around, it's already heating up again, and Karlach is left with two choices: die, or return to the Hells. She's pretty adamant that she doesn't want to go back to Avernus, leaving death (or being the one to go full Mind Flayer) as the "better" option.
Yet for some players, death or a lifetime of fighting in the Hells isn't good enough. Many are calling on Larian to make it possible to save Karlach from her fate altogether, giving her the happier ending that many other companions have.
"If Gale, mister 'I'm going to blow up and the flirt with Mystra', can get a good ending then so should Karlach," says Reddit user sosen42. "Not only that but [...] the Gondians make infernal engines. Why can't they make one for her and just do a little transplant, throw the old one back into Avernus and forget about it."
Some fans even have their own ideas on how this could be implemented in the story. For example, CaptainPRESIDENTduck suggests that we could use the single-use spell, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Divine Intervention, to save her, if it isn't used by the end of the game. However, DMking highlights that we can already get the literal child of a god in our camp, should we convince Shadowheart to free Dame Aylin. I guess Selune isn't in the business of repairing engines.
Of course, there are many fans that - even as Karlach lovers - defend her current endings. Sure, they're tragic, but that might very well be the point. Her best character moments come from her grappling with her mortality, so we probably shouldn't expect Larian to cave. At the very least, the devs have already 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:extended her endings, so we get to see more from her beꦅfore the credits roll.
