How To Find Lorroakan

Lorroakan believes himself a god in Baldur's Gate 3

When you enter the city of Baldur's Gate, head to Sorcerous Sundries. You'll need to head up the stairs and enter the blue portal to reach Lorroakan's tower.

When you meet Lorroakan, he'll interrogate you about the Nightsong. He wants to imprison her to sustain his own immortality, like Ketheric Thorm, which leads to a difficult battle if you decide to protect Dame Aylin.

Make sure to heal Dame Aylin before speaking to her. If she had taken damage during the battle at Moonrise Towers, she will not have recovered her HP (even after long rests). You'll want her at full health before challenging Lorroakan.

The battle won't start until you talk to Nightsong and return to Lorroakan's tower. Take time to prepare for the upcoming battlඣe before rushing in.

How To Win The Battle

Lorroakan hoped you'd have an open mind in Baldur's Gate 3

Deciding against trapping Nightsong once again initiates combat with Lorroakan and his elemental Myrmidons. While you won't be outnumbered (with both Nightsong and Rolan on your side), you're likely to be outmatched without a decent strategy.

There are a few ways to deal with the enemies you'll face. With a bit of planning (and a few good rolls) you'll come out on the other side with some fancy loot and the Nightsong intact.

Crowd Control

One of the most important things to start with is slowing the enemies. Unless you're lucky enough to do well with initiative, you'll fall somewhere along the middle of the turn order.

However you can reduce the movement speed of your enemies, do it. The Myrmidons and Lorroakan will deal wicked damage and jump around the tower. Slowi🍰ng them🐈 down buys you time to regroup and attack.

Not all enemies will be affected by spells like Slow, but the ones that are can be taken out more ea✅sily.

You'll also want to spread out as soon as you can. Lorroakan initiates the fight and your party is trapped in the entryway. If you don't move quickly, you'll be blocked in by the Myrmidons.

Try to pick off Miklaur and Krank first, as they are the weakest enemies. Bring Astarion to deal extra damage with sneak attacks to eliminate foes faster.

Dealing With The Myrmidons

Surprisingly, Lorroakan isn't your biggest problem. While he can use AoE spells to wipe out your party, the real trouble comes from the Myrmidons he siphons power from.

There are four Myrmidons to deal with in the tower: Fire, Water, Earth, and Air.ꦯ Each one has unique resistances yo💎u'll want to examine before attacking.

You can still apply conditions like Burning and Wet to the elemental Myrmidons. Doing so will allow you to reap the damage bonuses. For example, you can deal double lightning damage if the Air Myrmidon is wet. Take advantage of the area to sweep the field♐.

Eliminating them will take some time, and there's no consistent formula for success. Your best bet is to pick one and whittle away at it. For a better shot, follow Dame Aylin's lead and attack the enemies she does.

Bring plenty of potions for healing, as the Myrmidons deal plenty of damage. The one encased in fire will use Hellish Rebuke whenever possible, so stay away or bring Karlach to absorb the damage.

Sometimes the Myrmidons get too close to the edges of the tower floors, specifically by the floating furniture. They can sometimes slip down and take damaꦗge from their own spells and attacks.

Defeating Lorroakan

Lorroakan isn't so tough, but it's his allies that make him stronger. If you attack him while the Myrmidons still stand, he can siphon their power to attack you right back.

Use the room to your advantage. Climb the ladders tꦍo the upper platforms to get the high-ground bonus applied to yo🌌ur attacks.

Spells like will continually affect him, though you can also unleash your strongest spell on him in hopes of taking him down in one hit. You can also send Karlach to deal with him quickly.

You can also try to silence him so that he can't cast spells. Doing so will make 🥀itꦓ easier to handle him up close.

Make sure to examine Lorroakan's stats. The Myrmidons give him additional boosts while he siphons their power, so you'll want to be cautiousܫ about what kind of damage you deal.

Taking out Lorroakan will complete the quest, though you'll still have to finish the combat. However, Krank will fall once his master does. Unfortunately, the Myrmidons will remain until you defeat them.

Once Lorroakan is finished, Dame Aylin will unleash her fury on him. Rolan will inherit the tower if he still lives, and you'll have secured new allies. You can loot the tower for your reward and break into the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Sorcerous Sundries vault while you're at it.
