For an entirely optional section of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Baldur's Gate 3, the Sunlit Wetlands are full of locations to explore, side quests, strange animals, and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:one of Act 1's toughest boss fights. One of the most interesting areas is Auntie Ethel's Riverside Teahouse, which reveals endless passageways, enchanted loot, and even 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:a secret entrance to the Underdark upon exploration.

Baldur's Gate 3: What Should You Do With The Addled Frog?
Beware of this peculiar amphibious.
Mayrina is a unique character in this area, and the quest to save her will eventually🅷 leave you with a choicཧe concerning the fate of her late husband, Connor. Since this choice can have consequences later down the line, it's important to know your options.
Updated May 13, 2024 by Alexis Campbell: We've added additional tips to help distinguish the hag and Mayrina from one another. Additionally, we've added potential spoiler consequences for Act Three as well as uses of Mayrina's husband in the long term.
Where To Find Mayrina
The f༺irst you'll hear of Mayrina is likely when you stumble across🦋 her brothers arguing with Auntie Ethel in the Sunlit Wetlands, but you'll have to go to Ethel's house to meet the missing woman yourself.
Unfortunately, it's impossible to rescue Mayrina in the tea house, no matter how much you pester Ethel about her. No matter how ꧅you interaꦐct with Ethel, she'll wave a hand and send Mayrina deep into her lair, imprisoned in a cage.
This means you'll have to pass through all the obstacles and enemies Et🐈hel has created for you in her overgrown tunnels before you can find Mayrina again, suspend♋ed over a chasm in a wooden cage.
How To Save Mayrina
Once you've made it to the heart of the hag's lair, a fight with Ethel will begin. She will set Mayrina's cage on fi♕re at the very beginning of combat.
Your top priority (if you want Mayrina alive, anyway) should be extinguishing the fire or getting her out of it before it can burn up. You can do this by:
- Dousing the cage with water (using either an item or a spell).
- By using the control orb beside the chasm, near where Ethel appeared.
From there, be sure not to kill Mayrina during the fight, since Ethel will make an illusory cop🅷y of he🐽rself as Mayrina.
There are a couple ways to distinguish which one is the real Mayrina:
- Volo's magical Ersatz Eye.
- Inflicting a status effect, such as Shocked or Burning, on Ethel pre-illusion.
- Effects such as Wet or Illuminated (via or ).
- on Ethel.
- Examine levels; the real Mayrina is Level One while Ethel is Level Five.
- Examine weight; the real Mayrina weighs 77kg while Ethel weighs 75kg.
- Legendary Actions; Ethel is always tagged with it in Honour Mode.
- Initiative; Mayrina's and Ethel's Initiative orders never change.
If you kill the real Mayrina during this encounter, your actions will be permanent, and the 'Save Mayrina' quest will fail.
If you're struggling against Auntie Ethel, we suggest referring to 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:our official combat guide.
After the fight, whether you decide to kill Ethel or not, a▨ conversation with Mayrina will trigger.
She will be angry with you for killing the hag (or letting her escape) because she can no longer resurrect her husband. She'll leave after this conversation, but don't worry, you can find her in a moment.
How To Resurrect Connor
Before leaving the hag's lair, be sure to enter the room beyond chamber you fought her in. When you enter, 168澳洲🍒幸运5开奖网:you'll find a room full of t𒀰hings to loot and a couple of things to read.
Be sure to loot this room, and make sure you grab the wand Bitter Divorce sitting on the table near the door. You'll need this to resurrect Connor and 🦄continue Mayrina's quest.
If you do not grab the wand Bitterꦉ Divorce, the quest 🐽cannot progress any further.
Once you've grabbed the wand, you can exit Ethel's lair by interac✤ting with the mushroom circle. This will teleport you outside, and Mayrina wi🉐ll be just a few steps away at Connor's coffin.
With Bitter Divorce in your inventory, you'll have the option to tell Mayrina you could resurrect her husband. You should select the dialogue option to point the wand at the coffin. ღFrom here, you'll꧙ need to decide what to do with Mayrina's zombified husband.
Give The Wand To Mayrina
Giving the wand to Mayrina is the way to go if you want to keep everyone alive (well, sort of) and ha𓆏ppy. If you give the wan♏d to Mayrina, she will say something about a cure in Baldur's Gate, and the couple will leave together.
If you choose this option, this isn't the last you'll see of either of them. Once you make it to Baldur's Gate in Act 3, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:you canও encounter the🍒m in another questline.
Keep The Wand For Yourself
If you choose this option, you will gain the item Second Marriage. This wand allows you to cast a spell to summon Connor at the cost of an action. He will stay summoned for ten turns before d💃ying again, but you♔ can use the spell as many times as you wish.
From here on out, you can summon Connor whenever you wish for the rest of the game.
Connor is a hugely useful addition to your team - most especially in the early game. While his stats are mediocre, his boons come in the shape of his many impressive features:
- Poison Immunity - Connor is immune to poison, making him especially useful in areas like 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Act Two's Morgue.
- Undead Fortitude - Connor must be brought to 0HP twice in order to die, adding to his general survivability.*
- Darkvision - Despite his original humanity, Connor can see in the dark, making him useful in many areas of the Underdark and in Act Two.
- Smelly - Connor is always smelly. Even if you give him a bar of soap. This has no effect on anything, but it is hilariously funny.
If you choose to keep this walking tank for yourself, Mayrina will be very distraught if you make this choice. 🌼You a🐟re still able to find her in Baldur's Gate if you choose this option, but separating her from Connor doesn't exactly inspire any warm, hopeful feelings.
*Connor's Undead Fortitude does not trigger if he was ♐killed by Radiant damage. As a result, we highly recommend keeping Connor away from enemies or traps that might 𒁃deal Radiant damage.
Kill Connor
If you decide to kill Connor despite Mayrina's resistance to this, be aware that you not only have to kill Connor but Mayrina too.
While♑ you can🐼 use Bitter Divorce on Connor once you've killed him, you'll discover there is some of his old self left, after all. Furious that you've killed Mayrina, you will enter combat with him again.
Killing Mayrina does not severely alter the Hag's Survivor's questline. You will still be able to progress normally, albeit through the whims of a different character☂ and with minor dialo💫gue changes.
