The companions of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Baldur’s Gate 3 have some of the most interesting stories the game has to offer. There are even additional ones you can meet outside the beginning hours, like Jaheira, or🔴 ones behind questionable choices, like Minthara. But like any good thing, you just want more of it.

Baldur's Gate 3: How To Get Rid Of Cloudkill

Have you had to deal with how to get around the Cloud𓆉kill spell ♑and its area of effect? These spells can help disperse the danger.

It’s an understandable want, since you meet a lot of NPCs in your adventures, with their own hopes and dreams, and you just want to hear more. With so manꦦy characters so wonderfully written, we can only hope for an update to recruit them all. For now, all we can do is dream.

9 ♏ Barcus Wroot

Barcus Wroot extending his right hand to another character.

Barcus’s story begins with him tied to a windmill, and if you’re not careful with your lever management, it could end there. Once you save him, you can keep saving him throughout the chapters unti✨l, with the correct dialogue c✱hoices, he can become the leader of the Ironhands.

It might be because of his hobbit-like charm, or because there are no small-sized companions, but 💖a lot of players want Barcus as a playable choice. Or at least, as a romance option. He can already join or camp, even if momentarily, so why not go all the way?

8 𒅌 Sister Lidwin

Baldur's Gate 3 player talking to Sister Lidwin

As you’re exploring in Act 2 of Baldur’s Gate 3, you’ll likely end up at the House of Healing. It isn’t mandatory, but it’s right next to the Mausoleum. In it, there are a lot of strange nurses giving off a big 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Silent Hill 2 vibe. ꧋These nurses are clearly afflicted by the Shadow Curse, but you can find some notes detailing how they were in life.

Sister Lidwin is of particular note here, since she was trying to get help from Baldur’s Gate before it all got Cursed. Having her join your group could depend on what happens with the Curse: You co🧸uld cure her and have a new cleric on the team after 🍸lifting the Curse, or keep her as is and send her to “heal” your enemies.

7 ♔ Sovereign Glut

Baldur's Gate 3 player talking to Glut

Sovereign Glut is a Myconid that can 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:help you deal with the Duergar. Once you clear them, he’ll ask for your help in taking control of the colony. If you refuse him he’ll turn hostile, so you can either help him or kill him, but he won’t join you in battles anymore. ಞMost players want a third option, t🃏o have Glut join you in your adventures against the Absolute.

Baldur's Gate 3: Most Underrated Feats

These underrated feats shouldm bne mo🌺re widely used in Baldur's Gate 3.

His strong combat abilities (and being able to turn any enemy into your minion) are likely the only reason people want him around, but having such an exotic species as a companion has its appeal. All the elves and humans in camp make us wish for a fungi follower to shake things up, and his pers𒈔pective on things would be completely diff♛erent from everyone else.

6 Popper

Baldur's Gate 3 player talking to Popper

The Circus of the Last Days is filled with quirky characters that would make great companions, but most of them♋ aren’t really an option. Most are actually doppelgängers, and other creatures like the Djinn you can already summon as a minion. Popper, however, would make a great addition as a lovable Rogue.

While Astarion is already the charming Ro♔gue of the party, Popper has his own quirks. The commentary he could add to pivotal moments in the story would be hilarious, as would the reactions of others due to his species. And he’d come with a top hat. Everything is made 💖better with a top hat.

5 Sazza

Sazza the goblin in the forest in Baldur's Gate 3

You might notice a pattern of small, weird characters being asked by the community to be companions. While ✤the cast of recruitable NPCs is very diver🐓se, there’s a longing for more out of them in many ways. Still, Sazza earns a spot in the list since there’s already an achievement tied to her.

You can save her multi🦄ple times throug🦂hout your adventure, and you don’t have t🐟o be evil to do so. The final moment comes at Moonrise Towers, and at that point, it would be great to have her join your camp to some capacity. As a companion would be ideal to get to know more about goblin culture and what makes them tick.

4 Zevlor

Baldur's Gate 3 player talking to Zevlor

Zevlor has a unique journey through Baldur’s Gate 3. He first tries his best to lead his people to safety, only to be lured by the Absolute in Act two. You can save him, at which point he tries his best to redeem himself, showing up as reinforcem𓆉ent for the final battle.

Be🌱cause your fists still aren🦩't doing enough damage.

That last stretch of redemption is a complete blank for playerꦐs, and it would’ve been nice to be a part of it with Zevlor as a companion. What’s more, he’d be a great Paladin representative, with a story about losing and then regaining his Oath.🉐 Minthara doesn’t count, since she can’t be recruited alongside most other companions.

3 Ansur

Baldur's Gate 3 Ansur in Dragonborn form talking to a healer

Ansur was the Dragon companion of Balduran, back when Baldur’s Gate was first built. You can find a quest to find his lair in act three, waking him from an ancient slumber and aiding you in battle. That’s what's promised anyway, the reality is that Ansur has been dead for a long time.

When asking for Ansur as a companion, it’s not so much his Dragon form being discussed here (although that’d be great too), but his Dragonborn form. You could either have him unable to become a Dragon anymore, or it being an ability he can use once per playthrough. Either way, his insight about what's going on and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:his views on your Guardian are too juicy to pass up.

2 ꧑ 🌸 Viconia DeVir

Baldur's Gate 3 player talking to Viconia

Among the returning cast from previous titles, Viconia DeVir seems to have had the short end of the stick. She, alongside Minsc and Jaheira, were recruitable companions in the original Baldur’s Gate. It’s a shame that’s no longer the case, and now she’s relegated to a simple antagonist in one of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:your companions' story arcs.

As far as available companions go, people doing evil playthroughs have a very reduced pool already. Most base and additional characters won’t join you, and the only additional character is Minthara. While she’s an amazing companion, gaining one while losing five d🅺oesn&rs♛quo;t seem like a fair trade. At least having Viconia as well would even things slightly.

1 Alfira

Alfira playing a string instrument.

There are plenty of Tiefling survivors that would make great companions, but Alf🍎ira shines above most of them. She’s designed to stand out, and even comes with a clear class identity that few companions have, being a dedicated Bard. That’s a class that&🍸rsquo;s sorely missing from the main cast, being great supports with access to on demand distractions.

Her quest to reach Baldur’s Gate also works perfectly with the overarching story, since she can aid you not only in your adventures, but in rescuing her people each time they’re in trouble. This can add even more drama to Dark Urge playthroughs, since Alfira has a rather peculiar role for that cha💝racter already.
