In August, Larian Studios revealed that Baldur's Gate 3 would eventually add an option to change your appearance just like in its past game, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Divinity: Original Sin 2. Now, it's a reality, as the Magic Mirror will be added in Patch 3, letting you "change your Tav's appearance whenever you'd like".

Unfortunately, you can't alter Origin characters. This means no bald Shadowheart, no short-haired Gale (why on earth would you want that?), and no removing Wyll's horns. A devil's pact is a devil's pact. But you can change how your Tav looks... to an extent.

You can alter your cosmetic appearance, voice, and pronouns, but not your species or body type. If you want to do that, you'll need to start a new game. The change goes live tomorrow on September 22, and Larian Studios is hyping it up as the biggest one yet, implementing full support for Mac users.

The new way to change appearance is a lot like the method in Divinity: Original Sin 2. There, at The Lady Vengeance ship, you can find a big green mirror that lets you change how you look. Granted, in DOS2, you could also alter how your party members looked, but seeing as how modders have... yassified Astarion. Maybe it's for the best that we trust Larian to handle our squad.

While Larian hasn't said where the Magic Mirror will be found, going by DOS2, it'll likely be in our camp. Possibly by Withers, given that he can resurrect the dead, respec our characters, change our class, and summon hirelings. It makes sense he'd also have the power to give us a haircut and maybe a nose job. He's Baldur's Gate's number-one plastic surgeon, you know?

Patch 3 also includes full Mac support, so if you've been itching to try 2023's biggest surprise hit, but haven't been able to since you play on an Apple device, now's your chance. It also comes with cross-platform save support so if you have dipped into the game on PS5 or Windows, you'll be able to keep your progress and continue playing on your preferred platform.

The only question left is whether not being able to customise Origin characters includes the Dark Urge. You can tweak how they look in the character creator before playing, aside from their backstory, but they are technically an Origin character. Maybe they'll be the exception to the rule.
