In fact, Larian boss Swen Vincke has confirmed that more than one million mods were installed for Baldur's Gate 3 in less than 24 hours. Mod Support For Baldur's Gate 3 Is A Huge Success

While that is a ridiculous amount of mods to be installed in such a short period of time, it's not overly surprising to see that modders were ready to go from day one. Some were given access to the mod tools in Patch 7 ahead of time, as Larian seems eager to engage with its modding community.

Of course, many PC players have been using mods since the days when Baldur's Gate 3 was in early access. The main difference now is that making the mods should be much easier, with official tools at the modders' disposal. There's also a dedicated menu you can use to install a selection of mods, rather than having to put them in your game manually.

When Patch 7 comes to console next month, those of us on 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:PlayStation 5 and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Xbox Series X/S will be able to play with mods for the first time. We'll be limited to the mods that are available officially, but it does mean we'll be able to play around with the creations that others have had since launch, like mods that add new hairstyles, armour, and classes.
