Some of those who expressed an interest in taking part in these tests will be granted access in waves, letting them team up with some friends across PlayStation, Xbox, and PC. It's recommended ⛎that console players are the ones to host these games because if not, there are limitations on what mods PC players can use in multiplayer.

You can check out the full patch notes , but we'll give you a brief overview of what you'll need to know if you want to tr♒y out the cross-play.

For starters,♛ you will need an invite to the stress test. If you have one but the buddy you want to play with doesn't, then you can request another one. Then, if the host is on PC, they will need to be playing with no more than 100 mods, and only using mods that are also available to console players. This is why it's easier if the console player hosts, since any mod they're using will also be available on PC, but not vice versa.

You'll have to make sure you have cross-play enabled, but once you do, you should see a cross-play option in the multiplayer menu. From here, you can view other lobbies🐼 or create your own with your own specifications, such as what difficulty you'll be playing on and how many slots you have.
