Find Traces Of The Ghost

As part of the main story Hungry The Hunters in Banishers: Ghosts Of New Eden, you'll need to find essence for Antea to satiate her hunger. In order to achieve this, you'll embark on your very first Haunting Case in the game called The Flesh is Weak.

As you approach a camp, you will meet Jacob, and you'll have a conversation with him where you'll learn that he is searching for Ben, his best friend. After learning about his story and ♌his friend, you will need to investigate the camp where Jacob is stayi🐷ng.

Within the camp, three items require inspection to gather more information about this case.

Before leaving the camp, don't forget to pick up the rope placed on a barrel just before the exit.

Find Benedict Stoughton

After you have completed your task at the camp, exit and head towards the left side. You will soon come across a mist and to the left of it, you will find a jumping point. Once you have made the jump successfully, there will be a platform where you can use the rope you collected earlier to descend down into the mist.

Since Red cannot traverse this mist, switch to Antea. With Antea able to navigate through the mist, move to the left and proceed to the source of the mist, indicated by waves on the screen. Interact with it using Antea to dispel the quickmyst from the area.

Be prepared for a fight after the mist is lifted.

Next to where to quickmyst was, you will see certain marks where you can interact and perform your very first ritual. The required ritual at this site is Harkening, which will enable you to uncover a memory from the past.

You will need three Wild Chervils and one Lilac Hyacinth to complete this ritual.

You should be aꦺble to find these resources near this area if you don't have them already.

After performing the ritual, you will be able to see what really happened between Jacob and Ben. This will lead you to your next objective, which is to find Ben's corpse.

Jump back from your current location and head towards the right. Then, make your way down to the place where you will find Ben's corpse. Interact with it and then head back to Jacob's camp.

Find The Tie That Binds The Ghost

Near the camp area, you'll find Jacob outside. Head inside the camp and interact with the item on the table to the right, which is the tie needed to summon Ben's ghost.

After collecting the Bowl and Spoon, you will need to perform your second ritual, this time the Make-Manifest ritual, to force Ben's ghost to appear.

Alongside the tie you collected, you need three Wild Chervils and two Hoof Fungus to perform this ritual, which can be found around this camp area.

Talk To The Ghost

With Ben's ghost appearance, interact with him and talk with him to learn more about this case and what happened♔ between the two friends. Finally, after interacting with Ben's ghost, you need to bri🤪ng closure to this case.

Bring Closure

Head outside the camp where Jacob can be found and talk to him. Following the cutscene and conversation, you will face your first important decision that will significantly impact the story and Antea's fate.

In the decision menu, you will be presented with three choices:

• Blame Jacob: This will sacrifice this settler. This decision will contribute to Antea's Resurrection ritual if you want to bring her back to life.
• Ascend Ben: This will gently release his ghost with a Release ritual.
• Banish Ben: This will perform a Banishment ritual on the ghost.
