A nine-month project has finally concluded. The same YouTube channel that has been posting videos showcasing remastered versions of every level on 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Banjo-Kazooie has wrapped up its project with ♉a 20-minute-long compilation of The Complete Remaster.
Project Dream is a YouTube account dedicated to bringing “the Nintendo 64 games Banjo-Kazooie & Banjo-Tooie back to life through a series of nostalgic cinematic trailers.” Since June 2021, we&rsqu♏o;ve bee💞n treated to short trailers showcasing their work. Each video takes users on a journey through meticulously recreated levels that conform to the 🥂original game’s layout, but with uprezzed models, high-resolution textures, and a totally revamped soundtrack.
The final prജoduct is dr✨ipping with so much nostalgia that it practically begs Rare to take another stab at Banjo Kazooie.
"Sit back and relax as Project Dream presents the full remastering of Banjo-Kazooie from start to finish,” writes Project Dream in the video description. “This includes new shots & music for Mad Monster Mansion as well as visual updates to Spiral Mountain & Rusty Bucket Bay based on feedback from the previouꦰs videos. Thanks to everyone 🅘for coming on this journey and giving feedback along the way!”
Although the video 🉐describes itself as remastering the original Banjo-Kazooie, it’s more like a series🧸 of still-life 3D set pieces showcasing frozen versions of Banjo, Kazooie, and the various baddies you’ll encounter throughout the game. The only things that get animated are the musical notes, jigsaw pieces, honeycomb pieces, and water.
Project Dream hasn’t said what they used to make these videos, whether it's Unreal Engine, Dreams, or an assortment of 3D art programs. Perhaps all three. All we know is that it makes us pine for Rare and Nintendo to announce a true remake. Maybe one day.
In the meantime, Banjo-Kazooie is at least available once again on a Nintendo platform. Banjo-Kazooie can now be emulated on the Nintendo Switch🐟 thanks to the Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack service, a move that Rare was quite happy to see.
“The question of classic Rare games resurfacing for a Switch audience is one that people have been asking for a long time,” 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:said Rare in January, “so we're immensely pleased that we could work with Nintendo to bring the bear and bird to this platform."
