After nine years, we're finally getting a new game. Meta Quest VR just announced 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Arkham Shadow, putting us back into the boots of ♑the Dark Knight later 💯this year.

The clip gives very little away in terms of what we can expect from gameplay and story. It's helmed by Oculus Studios and Iron Man VR developer Camouflaj and is evidently set in the same universe as Rocksteady's games.

The Reveal Teases A Few Different Batman Villains

We don't know who the main villain will be or when it's set, but at the 0:23 mark, you can see "Vote Dent" written on the alley wall. Two-Face, played by Troy Baker, appears as early in the series as City, and we know that he was in Arkham Asylum during the first game when Joker released all of the inmates. It's possible then that this is a prequel following the downfall of Harvey Dent.

We also see a medical ID card for none other than Harley Quinn right at the start of the trailer. She is likewise an Arkham staple, first appearing in the original game and later starring as a playable character in the spin-off Suicide Squad: Kill 𝕴the Justice League. She wasn't a supervillain in Origins, so if this is a prequel, it may also detail her descent.

Arkham isn't the only series delving into virtual reality. Earlier this year, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Deep Silver announced Metro Awakening, another VR exclusive.

As for the mysterious red-eyed rats we see swarming Batman, they might be hinting at Otis Flannegan, AKA the Ratcatcher. We know he exists in-universe, but we've never actually met him. He can control rats and build up an entire army of vermin to do his bidding - sure fits what we saw in the teaser, eh?

In that case, we have three possible villains from the teaser alone - Two-Face, Harley Quinn, and the Ratcatcher. And if I had to hazard a guess, I'd say this is probably set between Origins and Asylum.
