While nothing has been confirmed by EA or DICE just yet, industry insiders are claiming Battlefield 2042's release date could be delayed, possibly into 2022.

As we quickly approach the final three months of 2021, the video game release slate is starting t get incredibly busy. Between Pokemon's remakes, even more Marvel, Halo Infinite, and so much more, it's going to be a very busy time regardless of the games you play. However, recent comments from industry insiders have hinted one major launch may miss 2021's holiday window entirely.

Battlefield 2042, which currently has a release date of October 22, is reportedly going to be slapped with a delay. Talk of a delay this late in the game for the first Battlefield in th🍸ree years began on Tuesday night when Jeff Grubb tweeted more delays 𓆏are coming this week. Grubb then followed up by saying he is referring to one delay in particular.

YouTuber DealerGaming followed up on that by tweeting they've heard Battlefield 2042 could well be delayed into next year. Xbox Era's Nick Baker replied to that tweet confirming that he had heard the same thing. However, Baker has followed up by clarifying although he has heard Battlefield will be getting delayed, he doesn't know whether its launch will be pushed all the way into 2022.

A delay of three months, or perhaps even more, a little more than a month out from Battlefield's release would be very surprising. Especially since the game has already undergone its first technical test and is supposed to be holding a beta tes🍬t later this month. It seems unlikely the beta will go ahead if reports of a delay to the full game's launch turn out to be true.

Battlefield fans are getting pretty hungry for a new installment following what has been the longest gap between games in the series' history. Plenty has been revealed about Battlefield 2042 already, such as DICE 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:opting to skip in🦹cluding a campaign entirely, and not folding under i𒀰ncreasing pressure on pretty much all developers to add a battle royale mode. It may be a while before you get to try the modes that have been included, though.
