From the Forgotten Knoll playground, venture north where the Chapter Five bookmark will trigger. Going forth, you'll come across two wisps staring at the tent, that is your destination. You've already met the one on the right, but talking to the left and giving them five Unicorn Horns (craftingღ ma⛄terials) will add them to your wisp list.

Heading further left, absorb the flower in your way and then, after absorbing the second flower beside the path, head south to find a hidden chest of resources.

Wood Cheshire Carrying Bomb Over To Circular Barricade

On the main path, create a bridge over to a circular area. Ignore the path to the southwest unless you have interest in fighting a faerie ambush for crafting materials. Instead, grow the bomb flower on the far west side of this area.

Taking the bomb, direct Cheshire slightly south and around the corner so he can properly throw the bomb into the center of this circle. Doing so will destroy the rock barrier and reveal a ladder. Climb down that ladder and walk west to activate the lever that will lower the bridge.

Cereza Walking A Tight Rope Near Amadan's Big Top

Bridge lowered, run across and fight the weak faerie on the other side. With that faerie out of the way, take a quick detour south and pause.

You'll notice that the wind here is strong. If you're not careful, you'll be thrown off the tight rope in front of you.

Wait for the strongest phase of the wind to die down before quickly making your way across the tight rope. On the other end, you'll find a hidden chest with a Healing Tonic.

Cereza Jumps On Train At Amadan's Big Top Station

With that tonic in hand, return to the area whence you came and walk across the tight rope on the other side. Keep in mind the wind when crossing; you'll only have enough time if you leave just after the strongest wind stops.

After you climb the stairs, note the lever that Wood Cheshire can pull. Pulling it will summon a train that will stop at this station. Jump on for it to take you to Amadan's Big Top and the Stone Shrine.

The train will take you straight into a boss fight against "Amadan Dubh". He's a bit of a tricky fight and will require you to use Wood Cheshire in order to knock him off his ball since you can't damage him while he's on it.

You can lengthen the time you deal damage to him when knocked of♈f the ba🌟ll by using Thorn Bind near the end of the animation.

When he changes strategy and begins hopping on pillars, you'll need to use your Thorn Bind before stepping on a button to fire his own cannon back at him. After dealing enough damage to Amadan, you'll get a button-mashing L and R cutscene to put him out of his misery and open the path to the Stone Shrine. Collect all the resources and the full Vitality Flower before walking forward into the Shrine.

Cereza Celebrating Cheshire's First Stone Form Transformation

Inside, attack the Elemental Core to absorb the Stone power. Doing so will grant Cheshire a Stone Form. In his Stone Form, he gains a ground Stomp ability you can use to:

  • Jump on large, yellow-orange mushrooms that act as springs (and other, similar mechanisms)
  • Destroy breakable objects (boxes, pots, rock barriers)
  • Force upward enemies and objects hiding in the ground

Cereza will also now have the ability to absorb large stones to further increase her and Cheshire's Magic Gauge. Absorb the stones you find in this shrine area.

Stone Cheshire Defeats The Final Bulb To Open Locked Puzzle Chest

Return briefly to the arena where you faced Amadan Dubh and run to the southern side to find a locked chest puzzle.

To open it:

  • Thorn Bind the first golden bulb from as far a distance as Cereza can be.
  • Attack the golden bulb to start the puzzle.
  • Run northeast to Thorn Bind the next bulb quickly.
  • Immediately use Cheshire's Bind Combo ability by holding R2.
  • Repeat the Thorn Bind and Bind Combo on the second bulb slightly south.
  • Repeat combination on the third, final bulb northwest.

This puzzle chest might require a few tries due to how quickly the timer on each of these bulbs run out, but after destroying all three bulbs, you'll receive an Umbran Syrup and several resources.

Cheshire Prepares To Use Stomp To Open Path Below

Return to the Stone Shrine and you should see a path leading right behind a stone you can absorb. Follow this path to a breakable stone circle. Using your Stomp on this will open a path you can fall into.

From here, follow the path through the door you can dip beneath.

You'll notice a lot of breakable objects and flippable wood pieces along your route. Feel free to destroy all of these for extra resources, and after your "Smash Party," you'll stumble across several faeries.

One of the faeries, you should note, has a shield. This shield can be broken by Cheshire's Stomp♔, so break it and defea🅘t the enemies here as you would normally.

Cheshire Uses Slam To Launch Cereza From Seesaw

You may notice a wisp on the platform above this area. To reach it, go northeast until you find some breakable boulders. Use Cheshire to break them and reveal a seesaw. Place Cereza on the right side of the seesaw and Cheshire on the left.

Then, use Cheshire's Stomp to catapult Cereza onto the platform above. 💮This will give her access to t𝐆he Wisp, who you can then free.

Cheshire Using Stomp To Clear Crates Blocking Hidden Path

As you go down the first flight of stairs on the main path, pause before you descend the ladder. Instead, find the hidden path to the right of the stairs.

Travel down this hidden path, using Stomp to clear the many obstacles in your path. At the very end, there's a chest hidden in the ground. To reveal it, use Stomp. Cereza can then open it for some resources.

Cheshire Uses Slam To Raise Cereza's Platform

Returning to the main path and descending the ladder, you'll eventually come across a large area with strange, spring-like pads. Running past the first one you see, run over to the far left and have Cheshire climb onto the glowing red and yellow platform. Then, move Cereza onto the red one above it.

Using Cheshire's Stomp will raise Cereza's platform and give her access to a tight rope she can travel across to reach a chest for more resources. Return to the ground. Now move Cheshire to the center platform you crossed over at the start. Cereza should move past him to the red spring platform northeast of it just beneath a ladder. Cheshire's Stomp will allow Cereza to climb up.

Cereza Picking Up Journal In Front Of White Wolf On Tilting Platform

From here, clamber onto the giant yellow mushroom and use Stomp to launch yourself a great distance. When you land, head south onto a tilting platform where you can spot both a Journal piece and the White Wolf.

Take the Journal piece and place Cheshire on the north side of this platform to allow Cereza to progress.

If you use Stomp while on the tilting platform, Cereza will be launched into the air to reach a platform with a resource chest. To ♔get back down, run right and slꦐide down the ladder.

Before you continue and climb onto the next yellow mushroom, use Wood Cheshire to deal with the Spriggan to the south. With it out of the way, you can open a chest for reܫsources.

Afterward, climb onto the giant yellow mushroom and Stomp yourself forward.

Cereza Finds A Demonic Mist potion In Trap Chest

When you land, head around this circular area to the left to find a hidden set of descending stairs behind some bushes in the northwest corner. Follow this path to find an unguarded Inferno Fruit before returning to and climb൲ing the stairs on the main path.

A chest can be found along your route, so open it for an ambush attack (featuring a Gog-Magog), some resources, and a Demonic Mist potion.

If you're a user of potions, it is heavily recommended here to hold onto this Demonic Mist for a bit. At the following Arcane Lantern, make sure you have two of them in your inventory.

Stone Cheshire Stomps A Path Downward To A Hidden Chest

Past the Arcane Lantern in the space just after the chest, go up the two flights of stairs to the left and then up a third flight past the tea set. At the top of the stairs, you'll find a breakable boulder circle. Stomp on it to reveal a pat🍸h to a chest with a Healing Tonic.

Climbing the stairs again and continuing on the main path, a burrowing faerie - known as a "Knocker" - will attack you. Use Cheshire's Stomp to force it out of the ground for you to fight it.

Using Thorn Bind will keep it from burrowing again.

Once it is defeated, go west if you wish to challenge an optional Tir Na Nog or go north to continue along the main path.

Amadan's Big Top - Continued

Stone Cheshire Shields Cereza From Laser Turret As She Runs Past

Going north from the Knocker spawn site, jump across a number of platforms before climbing onto a yellow mushroom. From here, use Stomp on a series of three giant mushrooms to catapult yourself to the top of this area.

When you arrive, you'll be faced with several laser turrets that you'll need to cross in order to progress. The first two are timed, but the others are continuous.

To pass them, you'll need to place Stone Cheshire in front of them to act as a shield for Cereza🌱 as she moves ahead.

Cereza Landing From Mushroom Catapult In Front Of A Moon Pearl

Once across, you can double back on a set of mushrooms and launch yourself backward to an upper platform. From this platform, you'll note a Moon Pearl crystal to the north you'll need to use Hug Cheshire to reach.

After claiming it, you have to run back✨ acr🦩oss all the turrets again to continue onward.

Cereza Thorn Binding Golden Bulb For Amadan Last Puzzle Chest

As you follow the pawprints to a green flower that you can use with Hug Cheshire to jump onto a large yellow mushroom, don't cross yet and turn right.

Follow that path down to find a locked puzzle chest:

  • Activate the chest as you normally would.
  • Turn around toward the northeast and hold Cereza's Multi-Bind.
  • With both seeds bound, destroy them with Cheshire to unlock the chest.

Opening this chest will net you several꧅ resou𝓡rces and a Blast Cocktail.

Cheshire Uses Stomp To Reveal A Hidden Treasure Chest

From here, head up and slightly to the right toward a shielded faerie. Use Stomp to break its shield. With it now vulnerable, you can make short work of it and move on. Further to the north at the end of a ledge, you'll find something glimmering in the ground. Cheshire's Stomp can reveal a chest hidden underground you can open for some resources.

Now you can go back to the jumping flower and launch yourself off the large yellow mushroom. There will be a series of mushrooms to Stomp your way up on, and you'll land on a platform high in the air.

Cereza Talking To A Wisp To Trade Two Demonic Mists

Travel to the yellow mushroom on the far south side of this platform. Stomp yourself across the gap to briefly enter the Forgotten Knoll again. A wisp will be in an alcove on the north side. Talk to it and offer it two Demonic Mist potions to add it to your collection.

Additionally, there is a resource chest on the far southwest side of this area. Collect it and use a mushroom to return to the previous platform.

Jade Hill And The Leafy Nook Revisited

Cereza And Wood Cheshire Find Jade Hill Sanctuary Again

Break the brambles to the north and then head directly west (left) from here. Before you will lie the old Jade Hill Sanctuary where you'll be introduced to the strange NPC from Chalkroot Hollow again. This NPC, Ignis, will now open you up to the Fast Travel mechanic.

Fr🔜om the Jade Hill Sanctuary, you can travel north and have two o💦ptions:

  • Continue on the main path.
  • Take a brief detour back through the Leafy Nook and all the way to Lake Nimueh for another optional Tir Na Nog.

Lake Nimueh's Second Detour

Progressing To Chapter Six

Cereza Lands On Path To Windy Knot After Stomping On Yellow Mushroom

On the main path, follow the paw prints onto a giant yellow mushroom. Use Stomp to fly across onto a cliffside high above.

From here, follow the path and jump with Hug Cheshire across a gap. As you continue forward from here, you'll enter a new zone: The Windy Knot. It is from🐷 here that th🦩e aptly named "Fear and Frustration" Chapter Six begins.
