The rumors of more Super Mario Bros. ports coming to  could have more to them than fans realized, as there is a listing for a Switch version of Super Mario 3D World within Best Buy's system.

Super Mario 3D World was the second best-selling game on the Nintendo Wii U and it's considered to be one of the finest modern Super Mario Bros. games. Fans have been surprised that Super Mario 3D World hasn't been ported to the Switch yet, considering its popularity on the Wii U, the fact that it would be easy to remove the GamePad-dependant features, and how New Super Mario Bros. U was 𓆉already ported to the system and was a big hit.

It seems likely that a Switch port of Super Mario 3D World is on the way. According to Wario64 on Twitter, there is an SKU for Super Mario 3D World on Switch within Best Buy'ꦐs system, with a price tag of $60.

This listing matches up with recent rumors regarding the 35th anniversary of the Super Mario Bros. series, which stated that a port of Super Mario 3D World is coming to the Switch and that HD remasters of Super Mario Sunshine and the Super Mario Galaxy games were coming to the system.

It bears mentioning that these SKU uploads should be taken with a grain of salt, as there have been plenty of instances where games like Persona 5 or Metroid Prime Trilogy have been added to Best Buy's system, yet nothing has come of them. It's possible that these SKUs are just placeholders for other titles or are created based on rumors and speculation. It makes a lot of sense for Nintendo to port Super Mario 3D World to the Switch, especially considering how bare the system's line-up is for 2020 so far. Super Mario 3D World deserves to be played by way more people and a Deluxe edition could add new worlds to the game in ♏order to entice back fans who played it the first time.
