During its 29-year life, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Mortal Kombat has introduced us to a huge cast of characters - some of which are universally beloved. But others have turned out rather forgettable. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Mortal Kombat 11 i♔s the latest entry in the fighting series and has arguably the best and most refined gameplay to date. At launch, fans were given a choice of 25 fighters incܫluding the debut of Geras, Cetrion, and Kollector.

DLC exp🧸ansions, including two Kombat Packs and the Aftermath Expansion, now have the roster sitting at 37 playable characters. This does require people to spend a few extra dollars to unlock them. However, some notable favorites from previous games are still missing. While som꧂e of them are known to be dead in the current timeline, MK11 plays with time travel and godly powers.

Anybody could show up without causi🍒ng any major plotholes. Which classic✨ Mortal Kombat characters should be put in MK11?

10 Tanya

MK Past Character Tanya

Making her debut in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Mortal Kombat 4, Tanya is from Edenia - the realm from which Queen Sindel and Princess Kitana originate. Tanya sides with the evil forces ꩵin Mortal Kombat and her allies throughout the series have included Shinnok,💛 Shao Kahn, and Mileena.

While Tanya is currently absent from the MK11 storyline, she did appear in the previous title 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Mortal Kombat X (where she was eventually added as a DLC character). She also appears in Mileena's ending video - which suggest🐼s that she is lurking around somewhere in the current timeline ♐and could make an appearance in future DLC.

9  Motaro

MK Past Character Motaro

Anybody who played Mortal Kombat 3 in arcades or o🅺n the SNES will have memories of getting whooped by Motaro. The Centaurian served as a s🔥ub-boss in the game -- meaning players needed to beat him before facing the final boss: Shao Kahn. Motaro was playable for the first time in Mortal Kombat Trilogy along with other bosses in the series who were previously unplayable.

Motaro was last seen in 2011's reboot, Mortal Kombat 9, in which 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:he was killed by Raiden. He was not playable in the game, however, and is only referenced in MK11 when players use his horn to 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:open a door in the Krypt.

8 Ashrah

MK Past Chatacter Ashrah

Ashrah was introduced as a new playable character in Mortal Kombat: Deception. Despite appearing to be quite innocent and dressed head-to-toe in white, she is actually a demon from the Netherrealm a🐠nd a former memb꧟er of the Brotherhood of Shadow. Her last appearance was during the battle of Armageddon in which she dies. However, given the reboot, she may be alive and well in the current timeline.

While🎶 Ashrah was not the most memorable character, she did have an interesting story that involved her becoming "pure" to escape the Netherrealm by killing beings she deemed to be evil. Her story arc could potentially develop further and tie in well with the current storyline♕ involving revenants, good characters turning evil, and previously evil characters seeking redemption.

7 Shinnok

MK Past Character Shinnok

Shinnok first appeared in 1997's Mortal Kombat adventure spin-off, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub-Zero. In the main series, however, he was first seen in Mortal Kombat 4 alongside the sorcerer Quan Chi where the two acted as the game's ma🐭in antagonists. Shinnok appeared as the game's♚ final boss.

Although we know that the evil ex-elder god Shinnok exists in the current timeline only as a severed head, it wouldn't be out of the question for a past version of him to show up and wreak some havoc. As one of the game's main antagonists, it is unlikely that we have seen the end of ꩲShinnok. Perhaps he will turn up as a playable character in a later DLC pack.

6 Sektor &am🍬p; Cyrax ꦦ

MK Past Character Sektor and Cyrax

The cyber Lin Kuei duo, Sektor and Cyrax, are one of the most perplexing omissions from Mortal Kombat 11. Although they are not playable characters and have not been announced to be released in any future kombat packs, both of 𝔉them appear in the game's main story, in which players actually fight them!

Given that their character models and move-sets already exist in the game, it seems strange not t❀o have them as playable characters. Although both of them die during the story, with time travel playing a major role in the game, it seems like they couldꦛ have been included on the roster without any issues - perhaps even appearing in their past human forms.

5 Nitara

MK Past Character Nitara

F🧸irst appearing in Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance, Nitara is a vampiress from Outworld (the realm ruled by Shao Kahn). Her storyline involves her trying to separate her home-realm of Vaeternus frꦺom Outworld - which was previously conquered by Shao Kahn and merged with Outworld. Although she is not a major character, Nitara did play a fairly major part in the original Mortal Kombat timeline being semi-responsible for the rebirth of the Dragon King Onaga.

Nitara was last seen during the Battle of Armageddon where she died. So far in the current timeline, Nitara has been completely absent, but since she ha🐻s not been killed off, it is possible that she could still appear.

4 ꦗ Takeda & Kenshi Takahashi

MK Past Chatacter Takeda and Kenshi

Takeda's absence in MK11 is somewhat of a mystery at this time. His last appearance was in Mortal Kombat X, in which he and Kenshi played major ro💜les in the story. Takeda, in particular, is mentioned or referenced in a number of pre-fight dialogue interactions in MK11. Some of these interactions also involve Jacqui Briggs to whom it is revealed Takeda is now engaged.

Kenshi is another story as players are able to find his dead body (and take his blindfold from it) inside of MK11ඣ's Krypt. Shang Tsung's voiceover explains that he consumed his soul. But there is little detail as to what actually happened leading up to his death. It is up for speculation whether or not what happens in the Krypt is actually considered canon, but some fans argue that it cannot be due to inconsistencies with the main story. This includes Goro's missing arms still being attached to his skeleton, and Kano's skeleton also being seen in the Krypt despite him being alive in the game's main story.

3 Ermac

MK Past Character Ermac

Ermac is another poor soul(s) that can be found dead in Mortal Kombat 11's Krypt. Whether or not he is canonically dead remains ꩲto be seen. He was last seen in Mortal Kombat X where Jacqui successfully defeats him in battle and proclaims that she had avenged her father (Ermac was the one respon🧸sible for exploding Jax's arms in 2011's MK9).

Ermac has long been✤ a fan favorite and one of several characters who were actually created out of fan-based rumors and eventually made into a real character in 1995's Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3. Aside from Mortal Kombat: Deception (in which he played a🔜 major role in the story), he is generally considered a secondary character. But this hasn't stopped many fans from wanting him introduced back into the game.

2 Smoke

MK Past Character Smoke

One of several characters who debuted as a secret character, Smoke was first seen in Mortal Kombat 2 in which players had to hold the Down and Start buttons when they heard 'Toasty!". At that time, they would be transported to Goro's lair to fight Smoke (who at the time was just a 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:palette swap of Scorpion with the same moves).

Smoke was a playable character in the next game and has appeared in several titles thereafter where he was given a backstory as a member of the Lin Kuei. Smoke is last seen in Mortal Kombat X as a revenant, so given the presence💦 of many of the other revenants in MK11, it would not be out of the question for him to make an appearance.

1 Reptile

MK Past Character Reptile

One of the most requested characters by fans, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Reptile is yet to appear as a playable character in MK11. He does appear in the Krypt which has fans speculating that he could appear as a secret character. This would be fitting considering that not only was he the first s🦄ecret character in the original Mortal Kombat arcade game, but he was the first in any fighting game!

Given how easily 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:fans seem to uncover secrets now with data-mining and how quickly these secrets are spread over the internet, it's unlikely that this is the case. That is, unless Netherrealm has done some next-level stuff to hide him! But given how badly fans want him add༒ed, we may see him in a future kombat pack yet.
