168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Monster Hunter is a long-r📖unning series, beginning in ꧒2005 on PS2, already with online play and a focus on teamwork. But the series has expanded massively since then, numbering countless games with an impressive gallery of fan-favorite monsters.

But Monster Hunter is known for more than just its monsters. Monster H🌞unter is a master of collaboration in gaming, having crossovers not just with other video games, but shows and even pizza places. And these are just some of the most stand-out ones.

10 Dead Risiꦕng

Oft forgotten as a Capcom franchise, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Dead Rising is well-known series of zombie games most prominently featured in shopping malls where you have to gather up any miscellaneous supplies you can to 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:make weapons of mass destruction. You know, like nails and a b💝aseball bat make a nailed bat.

So fitting then, in a game with absurd weapons, that Monster Hunter would have a collaboration. It specifically occurred in Monster Hunter Frontier, the MMO that never made it to the west. To celebrate the release of Dead Risin💖g in Japan, any who purchased it got access to a racing o💃utfit from the game, as well as new weapons like clawed gloves and a shotgun with a pitchfork.

9 Okami

Amaterasu howling on a mountain top in Rise

One of the best examples of a Zelda-like game, and quite simply one of the most gorgeous games out there is Okami. Originally released 𒆙in 2006, the game performed poorly, not gaining its current love until the HD remasters. The art is gorgeous, and its gameplay is just as innovative.

The addition of Palamutes in Rise then made it the perfect time for an Okami collaboration, and that's exactly what we got. After completing the event quest, Palamutes can be given an Amaterasu layered armor filled with all the various effects like nature trailing behind you, and weapons changing into the famed Reflector or Glaive.

8 🌞 Devil May Cry

The beloved character action game that started the genre, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Devil May Cry is a beloved series for its intense but satisfying combat and wonderfully expressive characters. But on top of that 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:are its weapons, almost all forged from various diꦅfferent demons.

Monster Hunter also has weapons made from monsters! Introduced with a trailer that paid homage to the original Devil May Cry, both Dante's Sword and outfit were added to Monster Hunter World. The sword functioned as a charge blade, though swapped between different weapons through its attacks. And in Iceborne, Dante's clutch claw is actually Nero's arm from DMC4.

7 Pizza Hut

Sometimes, a collaboration occurs that you can't really expect. Like 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Final Fantasy's Lightning becoming an official model for a fashion brand, or the anime Code Geass featuring constant Domino's Pizza deliveries. And then, of course, is Monster Hunter Frontier's Pizza Hut collab.

As a reward for making an in-store pizza order, you were given a code for Monster Hunte🦩r Frontier that would unlock a new longsword. That longsword being, um, a pizza peel, used to remove them from the oven. Pizza included. Nothing says monster hunting like shoving a pizza in the face of a Rathalos.

6 ♏ Street Fighter

Akuma standing in flames with his back turned and a red Kanji glowing on his back

One of Capcom's biggest franchises and one of the most well-known fighting games is of course the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Street Fighter series. The series contains many famed characters like Ryu and Akuma, both of which ha🐭ve now appeared in Monster😼 Hunter.

In World, Ryu and Sakura were added, including the Hadouken gesture that actually damaged enemies, albeit minimally. In Rise, another Street Fighter collab occurred, this time adding Akuma. Akuma worked interesting, having uni🐷que animations with sword and shield, when throwing kunai, and even with some Silkbind techniques.

5 ꦑ The Witcher 3 🎉

168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The Witcher is a massive series, known for its great quest writing, world design, and more than anything, its monster-hunting protagonist, Geralt of Rivia. He's 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:a natural fit for Monster Hunter even if he might not seem so aꦓt first glance. But what truly standꦇs out about Geralt in Monster Hunter World is the depth.

He comes with his own solo questline, tracking down monsters and using his unique Igni ability. On top of full voice-acting, the event also has dialogue choices, a new monster in the Leshen, and even different endings, true to the original game. And of course, it has Geralt's outfit as well as Ciri's as layered armor.

4 Nintendo

Samus in her classic and Zero Suits, kneeling and standing respectively

Just Nintendo might seem like a very generous choice, but they've had a plentiful bounty of collabs across many Monster Hunter games, both mainline and otherwise. They've even featured a Rathalos in Smash, so the connection is deep.

For example, you could obtain Epona as a Monstie in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Monster Hunter Stories, as well as Link's outfit and even Majora's Mask for Navirou. Monster Hunter Generations added various Star Fox outfits and even Metroid in Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, featuring Samus's classic and Zero Suit outfits as well as a unique bowgun. There's plenty of them, and they're all iconic.

3 ♌ Final Fantasy ౠ

A series of hunters in fierce battle against a raging Behemoth

Final Fantasy is already a series known well for its various collaborations with other franchises and has plenty of iconic monsters of its own, so its's only logical for it to have collaborated with Monster Hunter at some point, and it finally achieved that in Monster Hunter World and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Final Fantasy 14.

In World, one of the most iconic Final Fantasy monsters, Behemoth, is added as a new monster, and defeating him gives you access to many new things. This includes the Gae Bolg insect glaive, a new Dra𝓡g🅷on Soul Kinsect, and even a new armor set, all incredibly powerful. Fitting, having been crafted from the fearsome Behemoth.

2 ꧒ Metal Gear 🍃

Snake standing while a Tigrex roars behind him and a render of the unique Gear REX monster, left to right

Definitely one that was unexpected but fits with Kojima's typical style of making everything stand out, a Monster Hunter collab suddenly doesn't feel so odd. This collab is interesting, taking equal prevalence in both series, if not more in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Metal Gear.

Starting in Peace Walker, Snake can travel to an island filled with monsters including Tigrex and Rathalos, and even craft a gun based on the light bowgun. He can also encounter a unique monster to the collab, Gear REX. Then in Monster Hunter Portable 3rd, Felyne's could have MGS-related equipment, and outfits of Snake and the boss could be acquired.

1 Sonic

Being a monster himself, of course, Sonic would eventually appear in Monster Hunter, though unfortunately not a𝔉s a huntable monster (imagine trying to catch that one). No, instead Sonic collab appeared in the form of outfits, which feels like a solid second place to land.

Originally appearing in Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, a Sonic the Hedgehog outfit could be acquired for your Palico, even fitted with the Caliburn sword from Sonic and the Black Knight. And more recently, Sonic appears in Monster Hunter Rise in the form of tracksuits for your Hunter, a Tail෴s outfit for your Palamute, and an uncomfortably life-sized Sonic outfit for your Palico, spiky face and all.
