When playing an RPG, first-person shooter, or even sometimes a puzzle game, you’re likely to encounter deceptively difficult fights and end up with a few cuts, scrapes, bruises - and probably lose a limb or two. Fortunately, no matter how bad the battle went, how many bullets you took to the head, or how many turns were spent tak🃏ing do🃏wn a deceptively difficult boss, games have got your wounds covered. With these magical wonder medicines, all of your problems will go away and only for the cost of fifty or so gold. In some games, these miraculous medicines that cure all ailments, illnesses, and staggeringly large gaping wounds can be found lying around the world ready for the taking.

While it may baffle some just how truly ridiculous some of these cures can be, in video games it makes perfect sense. Of course a berry you find lying around in the desert populated by robot dinosaurs will heal that enormous hole in your chest you got from being shot by said robot dinosaurs. And of course, that rusty needle you found in this post-apocalyptic wasteland will fix your limbs in no time. Suffice to say, there are some truly ama🍸zing wonder medicines in video games, and they frankly make no sense at all.

5 𓃲 Stimpaks🐻 - Fallout

a POV shot of someone injecting themselves with a Stimpak in an abandoned building

Oh, the rusty end of an abandoned medical utensil, how you beckon us to inject you into our arms. Of courꦡse, it goes without s꧙aying that injecting anything that hasn’t been sterilized into your body is just a terrible, awful idea. However, this does not stop the lone wanderer from picking up any needle they find and jabbing it firmly into their veins in the hopes that it’ll cure their broken leg - because that’s how medicine works of course.

Stimpaks in the Fallout universe are the be all end all in scientific advancements. They can literally mend a broken leg just by simply injecting whatever fluid is inside them into your body. Despite an apocalypse devastating the planet and radiation smothering the world in a thick layer of deadly smog, for some reason it is seemingly okay to continue using these old-world Stimpaks to heal yourself. Well, whatever floats your boat, just don’t come crying when you start dying of wh💙atever radioactive disease is on the end of that rusty needle.

4 🦹 Medicinal Hintergold/Skybrush - Horizon Zero Dawn/Forbidden West

Have you ever tussled with a giant robot dinosaur before? How about one with mine launchers on its back, plasma machine guns attached to its mouth, and the ability to send rippling lightning shocks across the ground? Well, if your answer is yes then you’ve likely played one of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the Horizon games - or had a seriously ♔trippy dream. If you are one of the unlucky few who has dared to try and take out a Thunderjaw, then you’ve likely experienced the need to hurr♉iedly munch on a handful of helpful healing herbs.

Medicinal herbs in the Horizon games, whether that’s Hintergold or Skybrush, are an absolutely ridiculous wonder medicine. For all the people you find lying dead in a ditch after a rough fight with a machine, you’d think that you are the only one aware of these truly magnificent herbs. These things heal you quicker and more efficiently than a potion does - which are ridiculous in their own right - and apparently can fix all wounds no matter how devastating. They grow in such a plentiful supply too, that you’ll literally never run out. It’s a𒉰 shame then t༒hat we don’t have something quite as spectacular in the real world.

3 Estus💟 Flask - Dark Souls

168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Dark Souls is a notoriously difficult series of video games. With 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:boss fights that seem to g🦋o on forever, to basic enemies that have a better grasp on how a sword swings than you seemingly do, you’ll be lucky if you make it through the tutorial in one piece. That’s why it’s fortunate you’re blessed with the wonderfully magic Estus Flask, also known as the magic healing fire you pop into your mouth and hope won’t burn your tongue.

Getting your hands on an Estus Flask won’t be too difficult, and once you’ve got one you’ll likely be relying on it like a crutch.🀅 Downing the mystical fire🔴 every once in a while during a particularly tough boss fight is likely a great idea, especially if you don’t want to see the two worst words in gaming appear across your screen in that horrific blood-red font.

2 ღ Phoenix Down - Final Fantasy

Death is pretty permanent. While it’s a distressingly harrowing fact to come to terms with, there is simply no returning from beyond the grave once you’ve been firmly planted there. Well, that is of course unless you live in the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Final Fantasy universe. In which case it’ll only cost you just 300 gil. To resurrect your fellow teammates from that deadly blow that cut them in two, just pop a Phoenix Down into their mouth, and they’ll be right as rain.

Of course, like with most wonder medicines, the Phoenix Down - despite its best efforts to root it🌠s magic in mythology - makes absolutely no sense and is truly spectacular. Perhaps in a world where the cure for death is manufactured at an incredibly high rate, it would cost barely anything to get a hold of it. However, if something as truly magnificent as that appeared in the real world, you can bet it would cost more than an arm and a leg to buy. In which case, just pop a Stimpak into those now missing arms and legs, and you’ll be good to go.

1 ♏ Bandages - Far🧸 Cry

a POV shot of someone wrapping bandages around their arm while elephants roam grassy plains in the distance

The Far Cry games are not easy at the best of times, with tips an𓆉d tricks being recommended for even players of the latest title. You usually have to take on the world all by yourself - or occasionally with a truly adorable dog - so having a way to patch yourself up after being riddled with bullets is usually a good idea. Fortunately, the Far Cry games have always given you a range of ways to repair injuries including breaking your thumb back into place, and the iconic bandaging up your wound.

As everyone knows, wrapping a bandage around the problem will absolutely make it go away. Well, it might do ✃in a video game, but of course, in real life, if you merely bandage up a gaping wide bullet hole wound you’ll certainly die. Luckily for you, this is never the case in the Far Cry games, and simply bandaging the problem away often seems to do the trick. Sure, you won’t recover all of your health back, but you should get a decent chunk back. After all, you did just waste one of the precious bandages that you strangely seem to have an infinite supply of.
