10 And🥂ross - Star Fox 64

Star Fox 64 Andross

Fox McCloud's nemesis supposedly killed James McCloud on Venom years prior to their own struggle. Once a brilliant scientist, the simian's mad experiments drove the Cornerian government to exile him onto the deserted wasteland planet, Venom. There, Andross declar♊ed war against Corneria and sent his troops to invade.

Upon battling Andross, you're greeted by a massive ape head. Depending on the route you take, you either fight the fake monster or the true form, a giant brain. As he utters his death cries, "if I go down, I'm taking you with me," he self-destructs in a final attempt to take down Fox. Andross later appears as the final boss of Star Fox Adventures, an enemy in Star Fox Command, and again in the reimagining of 64, Star Fox Zero.

9 ও Kaptain K.ﷺ Rool - Donkey Kong Country 2

Kaptain K. Rool DKC2

When Donkey Kong defeated King K. Rool in Donkey Kong Country, the crocodile pirate wasn't finished yet. If he couldn't have DK's banana hoard, he would kidnap DK instead. This goaded DK's buddies,♎ Diddy Kong and Dixie Kong, to come rescue him.

K. Rool's second-go-round is known for being one of the hardest. His Blunderbuss allows him to mix up cannonballs, elements, and dash across even when invisible. The climax of the battle involves DK fre🌱eing himself from K.Rool's bounds and uppercutting him into the swamp. K.Rool would later appear to fight the Kongs once more in the center of the Lost World should they have all DK Coins collected. Also, when K. Rool made his grand debut in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, his final boss theme and his Blunderbuss also returned!

8 Mother Brain - Super Metroid ဣ

Samus disposed of the Mother Brain in the original Metroid. The alien overlord would return, however, as is common with the enemies of the Metroid series. When chasing down the Baby Metroid back to⛄ Planet Zebes, Samus would encounte🎃r Mother Brain once more.

Unlike their past encounter, however, Mother Brain was no longer confined to a brain in the jar. While the fight initially started as such, Mother Brai꧃n would grow into a colo🃏ssal kaiju and defeat Samus. With the sacrifice of the Metroid Hatchling, Samus would gain the power to finally put away her nemesis once and for all.

7 Baby Bowser - Yoshi's Isl🃏and 🗹

Baby Bowser Yoshi's Island

Yoshi's Island would be the first of numerous games to feature Bowser in his colossal form. Yoshi would have to launch giant eggs across the horizon or risk being♌ crushed by the approaching Bowser. While Bowser could fill a list of epic final boss battles throughout the Mario series, nothing hit quite like Koji Kondo's unprecedented heavy metal melody in Yoshi's Island.

Void Kirby Star Allies

The Kirby series is filled with some of the most memorable and𒁃 disturbing final boss fights in the series. Bosses like Zero would bleed when woun🀅ded. Later bosses, like Haltmann, came with tragic lore written in the pause screens.

Initially, as Void Termina, Kirby wou🌄ld defeat this creature, summoned by the Jambastian leader, Hyness, to take over the world. Only through the free updates would the game provide more than the shooter-type boss battle followed by the obligatory massive orb fight. Accompanied by a somber remix of Green Greens, the pause screen lore featured a shocking reveal: Void to be of the same origin as both Kirby and Dark Matter and the player was forced to end its life.

5 🌼 Masked Man - Mother 3 ✅

Masked Man Mother 3

Mother 3 was no stranger to tragedy. The first chapter ends with the mother of Claus and Lucas, Hinawa, being brutally murdered🐭 by a creature. It's later revealed that Porky Minch, an antagonist from the previous title EarthB🌳ound, is responsible for corrupting the innocent creatures of the Nowhere Islands.
