Final Girl is a term used to describe the phenomenon where the ♛last survivor in a horror movie is a woman. As the only one left alive, she must go toe-toe with whatever or whoever is killing everybody and live to tell the tale.
The trope is seen in so many classic horror movies, such as Alien and Halloween. But the concept of a Final Girl has also made its way to the video game world. Admittedly, it isn't as common in gaming as it's in movies, but it has certainly still happened a bunch of times. These are some of the most notable examples.

In the first season of TellTale's The Walking Dead, Clementines proves to be one of the youngest examples of a Final Girl. Throughout the season, she is in a group of people who are attempting to stay alive among the zombie - or walker - apocalypse. Along the way, their numbers gradually dwindle as most die or get separated.
Towards the end, it's just young Clementine and the infected Lee. Eventually, he either turns or Clem puts him out of his misery. Whatever happens, the child is left on her own, but she still manages to escape and reunite with two friends she lost previously. The game slightly goes against the traditional Final Girl convention due to the lack of a major antagonist for Clementine to take down. But everything else is there for Clem to be considered a great Final Girl.
4 ♉ Morgan Yu - Prey
At the start of 2017's Prey, you get to select the gender of the main protagonist, Morgan Yu. If you choose female, then Morgan is a potential Final Girl. She works for TranStar Industries and is researching an Alien species called Typhon, which quickly takes over the space station where the research is being conducted. Morgan spends the rest of the game trying to figure out how to resolve the situation.
There are multiple options, but the most Final-Girl-like one consists of Morgan wiping out the Typhon by blowing up the station and using an escape pod to jettison to safety. It isn't a perfect Final Girl scenario because it also means Morgan kills all the living people left on the station, which isn't typically a Final Girl move.
3 Amanda Ripley - Alien🦩: Isolation
Ellen Ripley from the Alien movies is one of the most iconic Final Girls in history. In 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Alien: Isolation, her daughter Amanda takes up that same mantle. You can be left solely with the noble Sam. Her chances of survival are quite good since she can't die until late in the tale. In her most perilous scene, she is stuck in the lodge with several Wendigos. She gets the chance to run out of there and blow the place up as she does it. By doing that, the woman kills everything inside and remains among the living.
