The city of Los Santos is certainly one that has gone through a lot of changes. How else are you supposed to feel about the grey and grimy streets of a city based on the boroughs of New York?
It's the place that is a perfect representation of the American Dream that the series so rightfully criticizes, a city that is iconic and has the hallmarks of what should be a great place to live and work hard. But in reality is one that is riddled with crime and grime, a true concrete jungle that the players often have to turn to crime and become predators just to make sure they aren't the prey the city so often chews up and spits out. From its art style to the varied attention to detail that is given to each district to Times Square itself, Liberty City truly is the best city of the Grand Theft Auto series.
