More and more fashion keeps creeping into the video game industry. Sometimes in order to promote an upcoming game, or to celebrate a momentous occasion for a video game series, like an anniversary, video game companies will pair up with brand names. For example, o🧜ne of the bigger collaborations that has been popping up in the past few years is sh🦹oes.
In general, shoe collecting seems to be gaining popularity, or at least is being covered more by media. No video game franchise is safe from the sneaker attack. Some of them are even pretty affordable, whi🌜le others are only for both the rich and fast, because some these collaborations tend to sell out as fast as PS5s.
10 Capcom Ubiq Collaborations
Capcom made a deal with Ubiq in 2017 to make some shoes. For those una𒐪ware, it is a Philly-based company. This collaboration was made to celebrate Street Fighter, Mega Man, Moꦇnster Hunter, and Ghouls ‘n Ghosts.
They ran about $88 a pair. The Street Fighter and🎃 Ghouls ‘n Ghosts shoes look the best thanks to their sprite represent♋ations.
9 Mario And Bowser Converse
Nintendo made a deal with Converse in 2014 to ma✱ke some Mario-ba🦩sed shoes. One celebrates Mario specifically with a red pair of sneakers, and the other is green for Bowser.
The best part about them is the sprites they chose from the original Super Mario Bros. but the Super🌼 Stars on the sides are also a nice touch. At the time of release, they cost about $200 a pair.
8 Cyberpunk 2077 Adidas
CD Projekt Red partnered with Adidas to coincide with the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:release of Cyberpunk 2077 last year. There was a white pair with orange bottoms and gold trimming, as well as a purple shoe with a black bottom and goꦉld trimming.
They both look nice for $200. The big issue is the fact that they don’t look very "cyberpunk" to f💞it the game and genre.
7 PlayStation Nikes
Sony collaborated with Nike to celebrate the PlayStation brand along with the PS1 specifically in 2018. Unlike the last pair that had virtually noꦆthing to do wi𒊎th Cyberpunk 2077, these gray sneakers do match the PS1’s design.
Plus, they were only $90 at the time which is still high for shoes, but more reasonable as well. If only they weren’t so hard to f🍷ind.
6 Sonic And Eggman Pumas
Sega partnered up with Puma to make some Sonic the Hedgehog-based ꧂shoes in 2018. The blue pair represents both Sonic, because of the color naturally, along with Green Hill Zone as can be seen in the back.
The other pair is to please the Dr. Robotnik fans out there. The characters are ✃also inside tꦇhe soles of the shoes. They were released for about $130 a pair.
5 Nintendo Vans Collaborations
Nintendo also collaborated with another shoe company, Vans, in order to make a more affordable line of shoes in 2016. There were options made to represent the NES, Princess Peac♈h, Mario, Zelda, Donkey Kong, and one with a bunch of characters.
These laceless sh𒁃oes ran for $65 for adults and $42 for kids. The ad for The Legend of Zelda pair is a bit on the nose, but great anyway.
4 Game Boy Jordans
Nintendo just couldn’t get enough of making shoes, so they paired up with Jordans in 2018 to base a pair 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:on the Game Boy. Like the🌠 PS1 era Nike shoes, these did a good job emulating the look of the handheld.
The Super Mario Land cover and gameplay screenshot on the tongues was a nice touch. If one thought $200 was pricey for a pair of shoes, try $1400. For that price, these things better play the 𒁏game itself. Finding them wa෴s the bigger grievance in 2018 though.
3 Assassin’s Creed Supra Collaborations
Ubisoft partnered up with Supra to make some Assassin’s Creed-based shoes in 2016. There were a few shoes made altogether which ran as cheap as $75 and as expensi🎉ve as $110.
All of the shoes have a minimalist approach to the designs, but the gray example on the right does stand out more. Except for the logo, one might not even be able to tell that these shoes were from the series. Hopefully these sne🐽akers help disguise footsteps to go into stealth mode.
2 Halo Globes
Microsoft and Bungie collaborated with Globes in order to make these Halo-themed sneakers in 2012. This ༒was to coincide with the release of the HD remake of the first game.
The shoes were modeled after Master Chief’s armor, if the color scheme didn’t make it obvious, and ran for about $70, which isn’t bad. Halo fans could also buy a themed skateboard for $140. The only thing missing is a cool h♈elmet for safety. Skateboarding is dangerous.
1 Saints Row The Third Heyday
THQ parted up with Heyday in order to make these shoes based on 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Saints Row The Third in 2𝕴014. They are♐ a perfect emulation of the gaudy, fabulousness of the gang, but now in sneaker form.
They look more like boots than shoes, but, semantics aside, they were about $160 at launch — that is, if one got🦋 lucky enough to find a p𝓀air of these puppies.
