For Talonflame, Zeraora, and Absol, three Pokemon with the highest base Attack in the game at over 600, t🍷his could be massive, but the majority of physical attackers weigh in at less than 500 base Attack at level 15. As such, the boost isn’t going to be that huge.
9 🦂 Attack Weight
There’s nothing particularly wrong with the Attack Weight, and it can prove to be a useful item if you’re the main goalscorer for your team. It iꦦncreases your Attack permanently on scoring, and can stack up to six times for a total of 72 Attack at Item Level 20.
The problem is that while this figure is perhaps a 15% base increase at level 15 for a lot of physical attackers, it’s too conditional on being able to✱ score early on for it to be a must-have.
8 🐬 Sp. Attack Specs
The same applies for the Sp. Attack Specs, which are just a Sp. Attack version of the Aꦗttack Weight. They add 16 Sp. Attack per stack at Item Level 20, and can stack the same six times for a total o𒁃f 72 Sp. Attack.
They’re not bad, and if you can score your six goals relatively quickly in a match they are ve♓ry useful i♊ndeed. But we can’t get past that dependence on scoring — if you’ve ever played solo queue you’ll know exactly what we mean.
7 ꦛ Score Shield 💙
At first glance, this item is entirely defensive, so you’re probably wondering why it’s on a list of the best items for attacking. Well, that’s simple — goals mean ꦿwins, the Score Shield helps in that regard, and that’s the whole point of Pokemon Unite.
A shield of up to 10% of your max HP is huge, especially if you’re playing a tanky Pok♍emon such as Snorlax or Blastoise. It could even nullify a move outright depending on the circumstances,⛎ so it’s a great complementary item for most Pokemon regardless of role.
6 𝔍 Scope Lens
The thing with Crit-based items is that they’re🍬 only effective on Pokemon that load up on critical rate or have h🌞igh chance naturally through levelling. The likes of Charizard, Cinderace, Greninja and Decidueye come to mind here, all four having 30% natural Crit Rate at level 15.
It’s an item that deals bonus d🀅amage (75% of Attack at Item Level 20) when landing a critical auto-attack, but the pool of these Pokemon is just too sm🌱all. The four mentioned above may have great critical rates, but their base Attack is pretty middling in the first place.
5 Wise Glasses♏
The Wise Glasses pretty much do as they say on the tin — raising your Sp. Attack by a flat percentage. At Item Level 20 this is 7%, a figure that makes it pretty much a must on any Sp. Attac🃏k-based Pokemon.
That seven percent becomes even more attractive when you load it onto an Alolan Ninetales or Gardevoir🍬, who top out at over 1000 Sp. Attack at level 15. It’s going to take a rather tanky Pokemon to counter you, especially when you add the following item…
4 Choice Specs ꧒
The Choice Specs deal bonus damage when you use a move, scaling according to Sp. Attack. Quite simply, the more you have, the better this item b🌸ecomes in the grand schem🅺e of battle. As mentioned above, you should pick up the Wise Glasses alongside it.
Take Ninetales, for example. We know its Sp. Attack tops out at over 1000, and 🍌then add the 7% on top. Dealing bonus damage the equivalent of 40% means that a single move can quite easily take down glass cannons such as Greninja and Decidueye. A must-have indeed!
3 ꦫ Energy Amplifier ൩
If you’re playing a Pokemon whose bread-and-butter is its Unite Move, which quite a few attacking-focused Pokemon are, then the Energy Aﷺmplifier becomes almost must-have among your three item choices.
At Item Level 20 it increases your Energy Rate by a mighty 6%, reduces your cooldown by 4.5%, and then provides a huge 21% damage boost for four seconds after using your Unite Move. It’s one of those that can easily turn the tide of a skirmish, especially if you&rs🌄qu𓄧o;re a Pokemon with strong auto-attacks finding yourself outnumbered.
2 Muscle B🐟and
The Muscle Band is pretty much a given on any physical attacker who relies heavily on auto-attacks. As well as a sizeable boost to attack speed, it adds an🅺 on-hit effect that deals additional damage based on the target’s remaining HP — 3% per hit at Item Level 20.
It’s an item built to shred through enemies, whether they are squishy carries or hefty tanks. It’s best equipped by th✃e likes of Greninja, Cinderace and Decidueye, although it can also prove useful for the high-Attack Talonflame, Zeraora, and Absol coming from♉ the jungle.
1 🐻 Razor Claw
The best attacking Held Item in Pokemon Unite, purely because it adds more. Where o🍷ther items just give you bonus damage or bonus stats, the Razor Claw even gives melee Pokemon an on-hit slow, making it an absolute monster for chasing down fleeing enemies.
Theꦇre’s nothing more frustrating than going toe-to-toe with an enemy, bursting them down to low health, and then seeing them use gap closers and disengage tools to get away. The Razor Claw helps counter that, securing the kill, so for us, it’s a must-have.
