Ever since their introduction in Gold and Silver, shiny Pokémon have been one of the most important and beloved mechanics in the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Pokémon games. Some shinies are great, some arꩵe terrible, and some are almost impossible to differentiate from the normal coloring of that particular species.
Pokémon Sword and Sꦐhield introduced a ton of new Pokémon, and a lot of them have great shiny forms. But, some are much better than others, offering a new color scheme for a species that is eith🔯er incredibly pleasing to look at or just plain fun. Here are the best of the best shiny forms introduced in Generation VIII.
10 Wooloo
Baa baa black sheep, have you any wool? The nursery rhyme comes to life in this shiny form. While regular Wooloo is white with gray braids, its shiny form trades the white 𓄧for black with a white face.
Fans have fallen in love with this small sheep Pokémon. It's fluffy, happy, and it rolls around. What else is there, really? Luckily, Game Freak made Wooloo's shiny great, too. It now looks like꧒ a black sheep, keeping its coloring true to real life (unlike the neons and weird choices that some other Pokémon get).
9 Clobbopus an🍸d Grapploct
, appear to be Water-types, but they're not. They're actually pure Fighting-types. These octopi with boxing glꩲoves are intimidating foes with very colorful designs. They a🎉lmost look like something out of the Splatoon games, with the neon colors and aquatic theme.
Their shiny forms are fantastic. Clobbopus swaps its beige-white main coloring for a nice pale blue, while its gloves turn orange and white. Grapploct trades its blue and purple for ora✤nge-red and white. It almost looks like a luchador with this shiny coloring, keeping it true to its wrestling inspiration.
8 The Sobble Family ꦚ
Starter Pokémon families don't always have the best shinies, save for a few exceptions. But, the Sobble family absolutely does. All three of them — Sobble, Drizzile, and Inteleon — all received gre𓆉at coloring for their shiny forms.
The light blue was swapped for a pale greyish-purple or greyish-blue, with pink accents rather than the harsh♕ yellow. Inteleon is slightly different from its pre-evolutions, swapping for navy blue and white, with the same pink accents and overall aestheꩵtic. They match great, they look great, and they're arguably better than the standard coloring.
7 ꦐ 🌳 The Fossils
168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The fossil Pokémon introduces in Galar are...interesting, to put it mildly. To put it more realistically, they're abominations from the worst nightmares of an archaeological horror movie. Dracovish,🧜 Dracozolt, Arctovish, and Arctozolt are cr𒀰imes against all that is ethical in the Pokémon world, with horrifying Pokédex entries and designs that are just straight-up sad.
One of the worst aspects of these mistakes is their coloring. why are they all neon colors that don't match? This is what makes their shinies so fantastic. They're all this grey-toned sepia-like monochromatic aesthetic🍌. What's also great about this coloring is that all four of them match,🅘 making the look cohesive.
6 Centiskorch 💞
There's nothing wrong with Centiskorch's normal coloring of red, yellow, and orange to match its ❀fiery nature. But, its shiny just gives it that extra something that makes it really pop. The back part of this centipede, which is normally red like its underbelly, is swapped for a nice teal-green.
The change to its backside coloring and its legs just really makes Centiskorch beautiful to l𒀰ook at. It varᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚies up its design from the monochromatic-red body and gives the face some distinction and depth from its pincers.
5 Frosmoth
While Frosmoth's pre-evolution Snom has become a huge meme and fan-favorite Pokémon, Frosmot🌳h itself is underrated. The icy moth is a beautiful Pokémon with a great design that's very pleasing to the eye. Its blueish white and light grey coloring are great and pay credence to its snowy night-time vibe.
Its shiny ❀coloring diverges from this vibe, but it's still a great shiny. The greyish-purple wings are swapped for a light green that gives much 🥀harsher contrast to the snowflake pattern, and the green eyes really make them stand out from Frosmoth's face.
4 Galaria💯n Rapidash
This might be a controversial pick but often shiny form opinions are. Galarian Rapidash is a typical pinkis♏h-purple and light blue to represent the. But, the shiny form swaps these colors for mint green and very pale y꧅ellow.
While it cou👍l🐬d be argued that it makes Galarian Rapidash look like toothpaste, the coloring is no doubt fascinating and very nice to look at. It makes her already-regal demeanor even stronger and stands out as a unique coloring for a shiny form.
3 🌊 Grimmsnarl
168澳洲幸运5开奖网:This Dark/Fairy-type Pokémon is quickly becoming a fan-favorite, thanks in part to its great design🔜. It's based on ogres or oꦑther mythological folklore creatures, with its pointy nose and impish aesthetic. Its black hair is where it draws its power from and that hair coats its entire body.
The shiny form swaps this black hair for pure whꦚite hair, with the green face, feet, and abdomen turning a nice magenta. There's something special and very nice about the combination of pink and white and shiny Grimmsnarl seems to balance it perfectly.
2 Zamazenta
The two box legendaries, Zacian and Zamazꦏenta, share similar coloring of red, blue, and yellow. As the heroes of the Galar region, they're simple and straightforward in their coloring. In their normal forms, they're much simpler, but the colori🔯ng carries through to their Crowned forms.
They both become more monochromatic when shiny to match their respective games, with 🐼Zacian becoming a nice light blue and Zamazenta turning a reddish-pink. They're both great shinies, but the choice between them goes to Zamazenta here. The deep pink is entrancing and looks great against the white in its normal form, and pairs amazingly with the pale yellow in its Crowned ✃form.
1 Obstagoon
There are some great additions to the library of shiny forms in that Sword and Shield brought the world, but the Best New Shiny award has to be awarde꧙d to Obstagoon and its evolutionary relatives. These three are already gre💦at with their black-and-white punk rock looks, but the shiny coloring of deep pink, blue, and white is just stunning.
It might be a little more like cotton candy or bubblegum than their vibe is, but t𒀰he coloring is absolutely striking and so nice to look at. There's no doubt that these are some of the best shinies introduced in recent years.
