The game contained various characters from the first two films, and even sprinkled in some original chꦇaracters like the Black Knight and Luna. The game also had three multiplayer modes — King of the Hill, Melee, and Slamageddon.

Here ꦓis where nostalgia lives. This game came out in 2004 for the PS2, Gamecube, Xbox, Game Boy Advance, and Windows and is k𒆙nown by fans to be the best Shrek game. The title contains eleven levels and the player controls four characters. Besides the levels, there are also mini-games.
While the games' plot is like the movie, it also included parts not shown in the film. The Game Boy Advance version did look far different than the others, as it was a sidescroller instead of 3D.
